I strongly disagree with your comments and refer you to my email dated 12/8/15 in response to your complaint letter, the summary of my investigation and reply is below: "In summary, I can see that there has been a few issues throughout your tenancy. However, each point has been picked up and dealt with appropriately. I do not believe the service you have had from Martin & Co is where any blame lies, more the neighbours causing you stress due to their noise complaints, the landlord not providing a second set of keys quickly enough and your failure to return the property as it was given to you. Hi Carlie, thank you for your review. As your parents were fully aware from the outset, we conduct detailed credit checks and references prior to a tenancy commencing. Unfortunately, as your parents did not meet the referencing criteria, they required a guarantor. We explained the referencing criteria required for a guarantor to them, but it later transpired that the guarantor put forward was not acceptable to the referencing company / Landlord due to them being on a zero hour, temporary contract. We have advised your parents that should they be able to provide a suitable, alternative guarantor we will gladly proceed with their application. Best regards, Martin & Co Rochdale

Hi Asmara, I have listened to yesterday's call recording between yourself and my colleague Ben. At no point was Ben disrespectful, he was friendly and helpful at all times. As part of our qualifiation process he asked you questions relating to who would be living in the property. Based on the landlords letting criteria and given the size of the second bedroom he deemed it to be too small for your family and declined a viewing for you, as this would have wasted your, our and the landlords time. We would be happy to discuss more suitable rental properties with you in the future as they become available. Given the above we feel your 1* review to be an unfair reflection on our company and the service we provide and so would be greatful if you would remove it. Kind regards, Martin & Co
