My 1st experience with Cowell & Norford was a little bit negatve so I had my reservations when putting my own property up for sale and decided to place it with another agent. I shared this with John from C & N at a viewing of one of their properties. John said he would endeavour to change my opinion of them and since then has linked me with several properties that may meet my resume. Great service, wrong timing.

I was extremely impressed with the way Cowell & Norford handled the marketing of my property. They were constantly in communication with me and their expertise and advice was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, due to market conditions, I decided to remove my property from the market for a few years, but would be open to using them again in the future due to their conscientious approach to their customers, be it buying or selling. The guys in the office were great at letting me know feedback after a viewing and were in contact with me on a regular basis to let me know how the market was performing. I had my property up with another Estate Agent before and they did not begin to touch the level of service that I received through C & N. I will be in touch in the future when the local market starts to improve.

Exceptional customer service .

I chose to sell my home with Cowell and Norford and i have 100% made the right choice. I must admit that i was swaying towards an online estate agents due to my previous dealing with an estate agent over the last 18 months that left me me feeling suspicious of their practice , cynical and feeling ripped off as they didn't really give two hoots about the seller they were all for their profit. But Cowell and Norford have restored my faith , they are a real estate agents with Integrity. They really do listen to the vendor , every concern i have had about selling my home they have been able to come up with a solution which suits me and my family's needs.I have nothing but praise for Lee, Dominique and the whole team. They are really prompt in responding to customer queries and extremely experienced and knowledgeably in selling homes in the Rochdale area. There customer service is second to none.

If I could give no stars I would! This joke of a company rented me a property with ongoing gas and electric problems, holes in walls and floor which I have in emails before I signed the property that would be sorted out for me. I had to move out after 4 months due to the condition of the house and the boiler breaking leaving me with no hot water or heating- they don't care! They don't back you up! After speaking with the neighbours the previous two tenneants also left due to the same issues! How they can rent property out like this is a joke! And to top it all off they are now holding back £60 of my deposit for a check out service (even though a check in service was never done so pointless). When I called to question this it got in to a bit of an argument which resulted in me hanging up as there customer service is disgusting! I'm not having someone shout at me down a phone when she hasn't even visited the property! Please please stay away from them. I had live electric plug sockets hanging off walls, holes in floors (at top of stairs with no handrail on the stairs) and the day I moved in a door to the rear of the house that didn't even lock! I wish I could upload pictures to here to show you what they class as a safe property! AVOID!

Do Not Use - Worst Estate Agent

In short no communication, agreed date with buyer without confirmation from seller, buyer stuck to date and advised would pull out of sale so had 3 days notice to find storage / place to live for family of 4, used a solicitor they recommended due to regular updates etc. but they didn't even know contracts wasn't in place spent two days missing work and running around trying to get contracts signed etc.Absolute disgrace would advise to use other agents their are far better local.
