GoogleABK are excellent, each member of staff is incredibly helpful and very efficient in their work. Liv from the sales team has been fantastic, she goes above and beyond to help find the perfect property for your criteria. It is clear that she puts your interests first. Matty from the rental team has also been amazing to work with. I look forward to continuing my relationship with ABK.

GoogleSmooth, stress‑free and genuinely professional from start to finish. Our viewing started right on time, and the agent Olivia already had all the key details, floor plans, service‑charge info, even the energy‑efficiency rating, printed and ready. She let us explore at our own pace but jumped in with clear, well‑researched answers whenever we had questions. No hard sell, just honest guidance. We left feeling informed and confident rather than pressured. If you’re looking for an estate agent who respects your time and actually knows their stuff, Olivia at Adamsons Barton Kendal is the one!

GoogleJust bought a house through Barton & Kendal. All went very smoothly and they were always on hand to help. I've dealt with 3 estate agents in Rochdale and Barton & Kendall are by far the easiest and most accommodating. I don't intend on selling my new house anytime soon, but when I do, I'll probably use Barton & Kendall.

GoogleI have dealt with Joanne for 6 years as a landlord and she takes care of the property that I let out. Always very professional and pleasant to deal with and takes her role as a letting agent very seriously. Understands the drivers for both tenant and landlord and ensures she takes a neutral position, careful not to take sides so you can be sure that you will be on the right side of your obligations. The result is you can relax knowing full well that your property is in good hands and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Barton Kendal and Joanne in particular as she is the one we deal with, however whenever I call I am greeted in very pleasant and efficient manner which is a sure sign of a well run business.

GoogleDuring some very difficult personal circumstances, I found myself in the position where I had to rent a property with my two children after being a home owner for almost twenty years! The position was divorce! Ironically it was Barton Kendal who were the estate agents we bought our property through. Having experienced Barton Kendal through purchasing a property and as a tenant I have nothing but praise for such a wonderful company. I would particularly like to thank Joanne Barker who helped me find a beautiful property to rent for myself and my two children, at a time when I was extremely stressed. Her support and understanding was second to none and she helped make the transition between leaving my residential property and moving into my new rental property an extremely positive experience. Three years later I am still very happy with my experience as a tenant and cannot thank Joanne enough for her professionalism and exceptional customer care during such a difficult time in my life! At present I continue to be a tenant of Barton Kendal and I will do so until the time comes when I purchase my next property! Thank you Joanne! I would thoroughly recommend Barton Kendal to anyone who needs a professional and understanding service, as finding a home whether it be to purchase or to rent, can be an extremely stressful experience.
