Recently completed a house sale through ABK. From start to finish, Olivia was so helpful, professional and communicative. Viewings were organised with ease and we were lucky enough to receive multiple offers within the first seven days of listing. We had a few bumps along the way and Olivia dealt with these promptly and comprehensively, keeping us on track. Nothing was too much trouble for her, even when I had a million questions to ask. We had a few agents come to look at the property but decided to go with ABK after meeting Olivia & we’re so glad we did. Thank you so much for everything and we would recommend you to anybody. Olivia has been absolutely outstanding and consistently went above and beyond for me. Throughout my experience, I felt genuinely respected and supported, especially during what was a challenging process. In contrast, my dealings with other agents were disappointing. I encountered poor communication and unhelpful attitudes, and was even shown properties with structural issues, which ultimately led to unnecessary survey costs. It was a frustrating experience that could have easily discouraged me from continuing. However, Olivia remained professional and supportive at every stage. She trusted me, treated me with the utmost respect, and ensured everything progressed smoothly. She was always prompt in responding to emails, arranged multiple viewings when needed, and stayed committed even when others seemed intent on complicating matters. Paul Ratcliffe was super helpful whilst I was buying a property I purchased through them, I didn't use them for the sale of mine had I of known beforehand how helpful he was I would have gone with Adamsons Barton Kendal, I still wanted to leave a review for anyone who is undecided who to use. Where do I start with this amazing estate agents. Lets start with Liv, the Lettings Manager. Liv was an amazing, fabulous, awe inspiring, genuine, heartfelt lady from the very first interaction we had with her. Liv had a genuine, vested interest in finding me and my fiancé (and our dog!) our forever home. Liv did just that. While renting with a pet is difficult in most if not all circumstances, it was no problem for Liv who found us a place and get us a viewing as soon as she could. Liv even came in on a Saturday morning so we could pick up our keys - Now that is what I call dedicated service. The whole process was very easy, our new home is absolutely fantastic and we cannot fault ABK one iota! to the whole team, our sincerest thanks for helping us get out of a bad situation, and into a warm home. They were the most competitive and professional agent. They were extremely understanding of my situation and Craig was honest with his information to ensure I could make the best option to sell my property in such a competitive time. I cannot recommend Olivia enough at Barton Kendal. Olivia was a massive help and asset to put my property on rent. The journey was smooth sailing and I had a tenant fully vetted and ready to move into the property by 3 weeks. Unfortunately the first tenant withdrew his application on the morning of signing the tenancy agreement and moving in, but that wasn’t Olivia’s fault and she worked very swiftly to get me another tenant, again taking 3 weeks. I am very lucky to have worked with Olivia to rent my property. She has been an absolute asset to me during this process of letting my first property out. Before the house was let, I needed a contractor but couldn’t find one. She immediately recommended a contractor to me so there was no delays in letting the property. She gave the best advice throughout the process. The reason I went with Barton Kendal rather than another letting agency was simply due to Liv. Truthfully at the start of the process I was very adamant I would proceed with Ryder Dutton due to how well established they are in the area, however I was very impressed with Liv and decided to proceed with Barton Kendal just because of how pleased I was with her and how good she is at her job in finding me a tenant. This has been evident right from the start from the initial contact right to when we were at the end of the process and I had a tenant moving in. She has always been polite, professional and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with my decision to proceed with Liv at Barton Kendal and would recommend her to anyone. Should I need any help in the future regarding my rented property, I will be sure to return to Olivia for her assistance.

I recently moved in with my partner and the team were really helpful keeping us updated with the process. My partner has been with Barton Kendal for 11 years and Olivia has always been great whenever he needed anything. A few years ago, she really went the extra mile when my partner’s house was going to be sold and found the perfect buyer to allow him to continue to rent it. She is really professional but also very friendly too. Recently, we’ve also been dealing with Will and he’s always friendly and helpful on the phone. We listed our property with Barton Kendall, and they found us a buyer very quickly. Sadly, that chain collapsed, but within 2 weeks, they found us another buyer. Sadly, that chain also collapsed. None of this was down to Barton Kendal, but was down to our buyer losing their buyer further down the chain. I can't believe how much effort Sam, and especially Morgan put into handling our property. I had no idea what estate agents do behind the scenes, and I can't imagine how Morgan could have done any more. Simply, she couldn't have, beyond buying our house herself! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Barton Kendal. and I'd definitely go to them again.
