Meyers in Poole comes highly recommended

I have just sold my house through Meyers in Poole. I cannot recommend Alex and his team highly enough. They have been professional, knowledgeable and responsive throughout. Every element of the process has been undertaken to a very high standard, from the marketing, arranging and undertaking all viewings, supporting all parties through the sales negotiations etc. Most importantly I have had faith in the integrity of the whole team to act in my best interests at all times. No hesitation in recommending them to others.

Highly Recommended

I recently bought a property and Brad at Meyers Shaftesburys was the vendors Agent. I cannot recommend Brad highly enough. He always responded to emails and calls, always within a very short space of time, and was pleasant and professional. I have no intention of selling anytime soon but would definitely recommend Brad as your estate agent! If it hadn't been for Brads prompt attention on our exchange date it is very unlikely we would have managed to exchange.

Fantastic

First time letting with Meyers and a great experience so far - Amy has been brilliant right from setting up the first viewing, friendly, communicative and organised! My move in date could have easily been pushed back on the day when there was unexpected staff illness, but others stepped in (on a weekend) to make sure I could still move - very grateful to the whole team! We recently moved from Surrey to Tolpuddle, it wasn't long after the Covid19 restrictions had been lifted and estate agents had just started operating again, albeit on reduced levels. We were very fortunate that once the sale had been agreed, the branch allocated us Pauline Hibberd. From this point to completion, Pauline was great she liaised with the vendor, both sets of solicitors and constantly kept all parties updated, minimising any gaps and potential frustrations, She was certainly a credit to Meyers and helped to ensure our experience was as pain free as possible.

Claire is a star!!

Despite the challenges of Covid working with Meyers and in particular Claire made our house purchase as painless as you could have wished for. From start to finish Claire was always available to provide advice and progress discussions and negotiations with all stakeholders in a professional and personable manner. I cannot recommend Claire and therefore Meyers highly enough. My fiance and I were further pleasantly surprised when on handover we were handed a welcome card and bottle of Fizz!! Engaging Meyers was the best decision we ever made. Moving is a complete minefield from beginning to end, having a caring agent who is up to date on every aspect of the sale & in contact with you 24/7 is invaluable. Claire & Richard simply knew what was required & really took all the worry from us, we knew our sale was in competent hands. Any queries we had were answered quickly, fully & had usually been dealt with before we asked. Now dealing with another agent for our purchase & the difference in the quality of service is shocking. Local, knowledgeable & experienced agents that we would not hesitate to recommend.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I'm perplexed as to how people have rated Meyers and the team as "outstanding" when it was nothing but a horrifying experience letting properties through them. Our first short term let in Christchurch showed us the entire team's inefficiency and then sadly, we had no choice but to go through them again because the next property we wanted to rent was also listed through them. Let's not forget when we were being coerced by George Thornton into choosing a property that was clearly way too small for our family's needs! He was trying to force us into a property that was either owned by a friend of his or somehow he had a vested interest in, even though we repeatedly told him we weren't interested in going through with that property!

Absolutely fantastic, highly professional estate agent with a super fresh approach to marketing, advertising and promoting properties. We have been dealing with Amy at Meyers Poundbury Dorchester, she has been so exceptional and outstanding in assisting us find a new rental property that we felt the need to leave a review. We have been using other letting agents in the area for over a decade now to rent out our holiday lets, but the service we have received from Amy is second to none. She has constantly been in touch by text message even out of hours to keep us in the loop with the process. We went to view the property again yesterday to measure up for furniture but she couldn't make it and sent another member of staff. However she still text me in the evening to see how it went and if we needed any further assistance! Amy is always happy, friendly, polite and can not do enough to help, she really is an asset to your team and should be highly commended. Two sales and a rental!We started our relationship with Meyers when they sold our rental property. We had a couple of hiccups (no ones fault) but Mark, Jamie and the team didn’t give up, gave us confidence and secured a sale. So good we did it again with our main home! Their knowledge of the area and advice as well as methods secured our sale quickly, and we were kept fully informed every step of the way. Sadly we couldn’t find our dream home immediately, but again with their help managed to move to a temporary rental, where Amy has been very professional, responsive and above all patient with us! We couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Meyers! We weren’t even looking for a new house when they popped a leaflet through our door about a house just two streets away. We decided to be nosey and have a look. It was our dream forever home! When we expressed interest in the property but were unsure if we would be able to proceed, the arranged a valuation of our house and for us to talk to a broker about the money side of things. It all looked possible as long as we could sell our house for a certain amount. Thanks to Meyers, we did just that! Tom Bell was great at handling our sale and kept us updated regularly. Jamie Powell was really helpful when it came to handling our purchase... Pauline was so organised when it came to ensuring it all went through... and Henry was so polite every time I phoned. Alex was really efficient, we arranged a time and he came round and valued our property. Within a couple of days it was on the market and sold almost immediately. Sadly the buyer pulled out but the boys were calm, and diligent and straight on it subsequently having it sold again within a few days. The fees were very reasonable, and we felt we were dealt with professionally at all times.We would highly recommend this team if you are selling a house or flat.

I can’t recommend Meyers highly enough. From the first few viewings we had the agent was professional but made sure we felt very at ease with him. He wasn’t pushy at all which made us much more comfortable at our viewings. When we made our offer they immediately spoke with the seller and we have agreed to buy our home within the hour! Meyers are a breath of fresh air!

Meyers are a breath of fresh air in the estate agents world! Always a friendly voice on the end of the phone and willing to go above and beyond. They fequently showed us round houses outside of 'normal' hours, which made a huge difference to us and was one of the reasons we chose to market our house with them. We were over all happy. Having used Meyers before, we knew that we would receive a good service. This time it was pretty stressful for personal reasons, and one occasion when we had a viewing at short notice, one the agents even did a quick tidy up for us before our viewers arrived ! There were times when we felt rather under pressure to change the price and times when we felt we were not kept completely in the picture, but despite that, we use Meyers again.
