no deposit back after 10 weeks I rented from John D Wood for 2 years. They were unbelievably incompetent and non-responsive for the entire tenure. now I have to ring them every week to try to get my deposit back.

GoogleJohn D Wood represented my parents in the sale of their house in Chiswick. As they don't live nearby, I interacted with Edward Hall and Euan Rollo during the sale. They were as professional, responsive, pro-active and eager to please as you would like (but not necessarily expect) from an estate agent. It was a multiple agent listing and we were not surprised that John D Wood rose to the occasion and brought in a serious buyer. They offered sound advice, helped fill in forms, facilitated negotiations with the buyer and communicated with our solicitor. Highly recommended.

GoogleI am pleased to recommend John D Wood & Co. Lettings for everyone wanting a smooth and reliable service when it comes to finding your new home. Katy Thomas and Vatche Cherchian worked very hard and even helped us to finalise the paperwork while we were away on holidays. Their systems are certainly in place, electronic documents help transactions to run smoothly and the way agents work is a pure delight: very helpful, kind and ready to be at service. Highly recommended!

Expect this company to be totally negligent returning your deposit (even if your landlord agreed for this to be released). They will make you chase your own money for weeks after you moved out, an absolute nightmare.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.

J D Wood did a fantatic job helping us sell our flat in Wimbledon Park. We faced a few hurdles that were unexpected but Chris and Lewis got things on track and got the sale through when we had given up. I would thouroughly reccomend them if you are considering selling a property.

She was obviously knowledgeable about the product, prompt in placing the flat in the market and with viewings. I really would like to give Nadia, at John D Wood the opportunity to rent this flat for me when it becomes vacant again - I really valued and will value Nadia's approach.

Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.
