In highly sensitive circumstances, I was faced with placing a property on the market for sale. My previous experiences with estate agents had not been encouraging and I was not familiar with the area. I am, however, by nature, a supporter of family firms and Irvings came highly recommended, both personally and professionally. The recommendations were/are completely justified. I needed realistic but compassionate advice that I could trust - it was readily forthcoming. I live almost 400 miles away and with only periodic visits to the area and timescales of the essence, I needed flawless communications, total efficiency and, on a humane level, understanding. The Irvings customer service is exceptional. Michael offered knowledgeable and experienced property advice coupled with sympathetic pragmatism while Hayley in the office supplied total efficiency and irreproachable communications. To say that I was lucky is an understatement. I could not have asked for more in terms of customer service. And the crowning glory was a buyer without a chain!

The only difficulty that I faced was uploading documents to their agents (Goodlord) as I lived in a rural area with slow broadband speed and so the digital application was often 'timed out' .
