Professional, welcoming agents with quick responses. They offered virtual viewings when I was abroad; they are flexible to customer requests. Especially Cadi supported me a lot while moving in. Alex kindly assisted me on moving out - I really appreciate her warm and supportive attitude to customers at all times. When I asked if I could take a look inside from Japan, I was able to take a detailed video of the interior and send it to me via WhatsApp. Their response time is faster than other companies, and if you have a property in this area that fits your budget, I think they are a reliable company.

Poor service and not to be used. Putting aside the issue of getting multiple unsolicited calls from various Dexters offices daily, my experience with Dexters was difficult and a waste of time. I had set up an appointment to view some properties. A big annoyance with Dexters is that you never get the direct contact number for the person you are dealing with, so you always have to speak to whoever picks up the central phone line, who will then decide whether to pass you on or not. On the day of my appointment I called the office to find out the whereabouts of the agent I was supposed to meet. It turns out that I was in fact meeting somebody else I had never communicated with or was told I'd meet. I asked to be put through to them but they refused and I was told they would meet me at the property. I arrived at the property for my appointment and nobody was there. Bear in mind I had no way to let them know I had arrived or ask them where they were. I waited and then rang the office to speak to the central phone line. I was told the agent I was supposed to me was stuck in traffic and would be there in two minutes. Several two minutes later nobody arrived or contacted me so I decided to leave. On my way back home I finally get a call from the agent who was going to do the viewing asking where I was. That is Dexters in a nutshell - poor communication and terrible service. Anybody can be late, and that is fine. But the least you can do is to inform the person waiting for you where you are and how long you will be. This type of service may well apply to other estate agents, but there are a few which are more professional in my experience. Because this is a negative review, I have chosen not to name the names of the people I dealt with but I hope that Dexters learns from this.NegativeProfessionalism

Ben handled the sale of our flat with Katrina doing many of the viewings, and both were great. Ben was fantastic from the beginning, and really made us feel at ease and gave us honest advice, helping all the way through the process, especially at the end with a few negotiations and a tricky exchange situation. We have just sold our flat with Dexters and have been very impressed by the service. After receiving 3 valuations, Dexters came in way above one of the others. Initially, we thought it might have been a bit unrealistic but they managed to get us this price and in fact they got it twice as our first buyer had to pull out due to personal reasons. Apart from being really happy with the sale price, we were delighted by the care and attention the agency gave to our sale, in particular Nick Blair went out of his way to answer every question of ours and our buyers, and he always did this quickly and with professionalism.
