Extremely positive experience

We had an overwhelmingly positive experience buying and selling simultaneously through Antony Roberts in Kew. Jonathan is a property wizard....his tenacity, professionalism, judgment and kindness were evident from start to finish. Jonathan works with a fantastic team, including Toby and Charlie, so we always felt in safe hands. Special thanks to Charlie who truly went above and beyond and we are incredibly grateful. Excellent experience selling our house with Antony Roberts

Ben and Marc at Antony Roberts were fantastic. We moved to them after struggling to sell our house with another estate agent. Marc, the sales manager, was down to earth and realistic with his advice. He made us feel like our wishes and goals were important. His focus was on us as people, rather than just on making a quick sale for his office. This was abundantly clear when our first accepted offer fell through and we were losing hope that we would ever sell our house. With his guidance, we ended up getting another offer quickly and for even more than our previous offers.Ben was involved with the viewings (with his colleague Rob) and then oversaw the sales progression after we had a buyer. He was friendly and professional throughout, going above and beyond to help facilitate discussions between us, the solicitors and the buyers. He responded to emails quickly and ensured we were kept up to date. He tried to pre-empt issues so they wouldn't turn into delays. The sale would not have gone through as quickly without his help.I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for the personal yet professional experience. We just wished we had signed up with Antony Roberts from the start!

We dealt with the agency as buyers of a flat in Kew. Compared to my previous experience of estate agents over the past 8 years, I can say that this was by far the most professional and courteous. In particular, Simon Welford was extremely helpful and honest - no typical smoke and mirrors you get from many agents, no intimidation techniques etc. He retained communication throughout the whole process and chased solicitors to ensure completion occurred in a timely manner.

Do not trust this agency.Scammers, no transparency at all, they are never helping you if you have a problem with your house, taking so long to fix the smaller problem that you can have during your tenancy, avoiding any kind of repair job or pest problem, advertising houses that casualities in your life got rent yesterday but they have a "similar" one but more expensive obviously, they will try to force you to pay cleaner company in the end of your tenancy, and obviously giving you some companies numbers that already work with them. At the end of your tenancy good luck, they tried to charge me £120 for dont remove a clock that we left on the kitchen wall, as we dont need it we leave it. Apparently remove the clock cost £120, casualities in your life they did not have invoice of that job.They asked for a contribution of £790 to redecorate the whole house as we had few bluetacks stains on the living room wall. Sorry we were living there for 2 years, it is normal that we put some pictures on the walls.Thanks god that my deposit was secure with TDS, they were asking for 1k of my 1.4k deposit. As apparently they choose a company that charge them 4k to redecorate the whole house (2 bedroom flat house with an american kitchen inside of the living room). Maybe Picasso or Van gogh are working for that company.Also if your Property Manager is Alison Wren, run, run away, as far as you can, she will be rude, condescensing, passive agressive and will try always to scare you and she will never be transparent with you.If you are in London, do not use them. Maybe in another cities they are better, in London? Run away as fast as you can and check your wallet buddy

As Great as Ever

We changed from another agent to Antony Robert's after a few let downs. Straight away we felt confident that the team would be able to sell our flat. All the team were very friendly, in particular Simon Welford who dealt with our sale. Mike and the team at Antony Roberts in St Margarets couldn't have been more helpful. Our house purchase wasn't exactly the smoothest (through no fault of the the AR team) and as a first time buyer I had a lot of questions. Mike answered all of these quickly, politely and even dumbed it all down so I knew exactly what was going on. He was also always on hand to prod the legal people when they seemed to be taking a little too long to complete tasks and this certainly made a huge difference to the overall turnaround time. Perfect customer experience as tenants

We have been mostly working with Ed and it was a great experience. He was ver knowledgeable and helpful as we had to move from a different country. Exceptional Service

Harriett and the team were exceptional in helping to find great tenants after the sale of our house fell through. They quickly identified the right type of tenant, helped us decide which parts of the house needed some revamp and were even willing to check on progress of the works . I have sold two flats in St Margarets with Antony Roberts, most recently in August 2023, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again and to recommend them. I wanted an agent that guaranteed proper grown ups would handle every aspect of my sale - from every phone call, to every the viewings, and every detail of the sale - and they more than delivered. No detail was too small and their advice led us to go to best and final offers on our flat - securing an offer over asking price in a really challenging market.
