We have used White and Sons as letting agents for more than 10 years. Their standards are consistently reliable and there is a depth of knowledge about landlord regulations which is very helpful to small-scale amateurs like us. Tenants have always been happy with the responsiveness of the maintenance team, who have a good range of local contractors. Hate to think how difficult it would have been to manage a rental property ourselves without them.

Particularly in the run up to exchanging where they liaised with our sellers agents, our solicitors and our buyers solicitors on a daily basis to get it over the line. I had a very disappointing experience with White & Sons regarding the handling of my tenancy deposit.
We are obviously disappointed to read your review. This is an extremely unusual situation. In the unlikely event that a tenancy deposit has been referred to the TDS we have historically had all claims upheld. We need to investigate this situation further internally. I would like to reassure you that this process is a well-trodden path and we endeavour to remain as objective as possible with very transparent procedures. We can only apologise for the confusion this situation has caused, we will be taking this up with the TDS.
