James and his team at Horley white and sons are phenomenal. We have dealt with them over the last couple of years and each time they have gone above and beyond. On this occasion, James and his team managed to secure us 6 viewings within 4 days of being listed (off market) we received 4 offers on the 4th day. I do believe that the team put in a lot of effort to secure us those offers and I do feel that we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. James personally worked on our sale, and was incredibly thorough and communicative on a weekly basis, sometimes even several times per day. James chased everyone within the chain on our behalf and always returned any missed calls. Lucy showed us many houses and was also available at a drop of a hat. Stephanie too, stepped in whenever she was needed so we were never left without someone to reach out to. We would highly recommend white and sons Horley to anyone. They provided a seamless and stress free experience, and we will be sure to use them again should we need them.

We were struggling to sell our property until white & sons took over and they got it sold within a matter of a few weeks. The communication has been great throughout the process and been really easy to get hold of someone via phone or email.

GoogleI was in the process of purchasing a flat in Wansbeck House, Apley Road; 6 months in I find out the property management has no sink fund and expensive works planned on the building which meant I could no longer afford the purchase. The owner, Steve Jenns conveniently failed to mention this at the start of the process and the estate agent (White and Sone) claimed they didn't know about this either. I incurred legal costs during the process so came worse off than when I stared. At one point the estate agent, Ed Macfarlane tried to pressure me to complete, saying the owner was getting impatient and was wondering why things were taking so long. When the owner is the one who withheld critical information from me, leading to me having to walk away when I was belatedly informed of the situation with the building. Unprofessional and dishonest behaviour on the part of both the owner and estate agent. Will not be hing white and sons again.
We are obviously disappointed that your experience with us wasn’t a more positive one. Fortunately, the legal process, whilst slow, is there to keep you informed as proceedings progress. This allows all parties to take appropriate action when information previously unknown comes to light. We are sorry that your purchase had to be aborted and wish you all the very best with any future transactions.

GoogleBeing first time buyers, and having heard how lengthy and difficult the process can be, we prepared ourselves for the 'worst'. I can however say that the process, while lengthy, was anything but. James and his team were extremely knowledgeable, always willing to assist, and available when needed. We were always kept informed of where we were in the process, what was required from us to progress, or if delayed - the reasons for this and potential times to a resolution. I'd like to thank them for their professionalism, communication, and friendly way of work in helping us secure our new home.

James was incredibly personable, communicative and pragmatic, and really well supported by Luke and Kieran. (From March 2022) Philip and the team in Dorking gave excellent advice and were very respectful and considerate in selling the house in Dorking during the pandemic. We were dealing long distance and they provided superb communication at every stage and proved themselves to be trustworthy throughout the entire process. They also have excellent local knowledge and a wonderful 'house staging' and photography team. I would recommend this firm.
