The whole team on the lettings side in Redhill have been very professional and friendly. Communication via email or just popping in to the office is always simple and clear with the team answering questions very quickly. Having moved from another letting agent to Woodlands on the recommendation of a friend several years ago, in turn I would recommend their services to others. Having now sold the house using the services of the sales team, I can only say the ongoing updates from the team were excellent. Even though dealing with one of the team, I was able to pop in and any of the staff knew who I was and why I was there. I call it good old-fashioned service, but it is teamwork that impressed and made the whole process easy and straightforward.

Dealt with Woodlands for my purchase. Despite long delays on my sale, Woodlands were always on hand to give advice and assist where possible, chasing the various parties for updates. Steve Frank was particularly on point with communication, always being available, while Dave was extremely knowledgeable in explaining a situation that arose that no-one from any company involved had encountered before. Despite solicitors being slow, they expedited this by putting on pressure, even verging on doing my estate agent’s job. Overall I can definitely recommend Woodlands, while at the same time advising everyone to avoid Sterling Ackroyd with a barge pole!

What can I say

What can I say, as a buyer do not expect any customer care what so ever. Its pretty obvious as they are not getting any money off you so they really have no interest in helping you. We started off meeting David Jeffrey who was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly but he had literally just sold his share in the business. Director Simon Ley is arrogant bordering on rude. If you need a response , he replies 3-4 days later or rings you after 5.30pm, if you miss the call you cant ring back as the office is then shut so you wait another day. Picking up the keys the office staff were pleasant especially Lynda. They said if you need anything please do not hesitate to ask. Arrived at new house, boiler didn't work so rang the office to ask if they could ring the vendors to see if it was something obvious that we had overlooked. 3 days later nothing. Best of luck if you are buying a property from Woodlands. Read trust pilot reviews not all the 5 star ones on their webpage which are probably written by them selves.
