Mark Shipp deserves a medal. He went out of his way to make the deal go through. It has been a pleasure doing business with Connells but Mark is the reason we will be using them again. His honesty and patience is second to none and I would have crumbled in more than one occasion if Mark hadn’t been there! If you are a first time buyer please listen to him, he does know what he is talking about!!! If you’ve bought and sold before and not had the best experience then I would say give Mark the opportunity to do your sale. You really won’t be disappointed and you will be in good hands. The whole team at Redhill are great and they treat you like you are the most important person. A big Thanks to you all!!! Mark you are a legend!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Mark Shipp and the team at Connells in Redhill. I asked three local agents to value my property. After Marks honest and straightforward market appraisal, (no jargon, no nonsense) I chose Connells to handle my house sale. And I am very glad I did so. I had viewings and offers from day one, culminating in a full price offer within two weeks. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, neither of them mine, Marks or Connells fault. But Mark kept me fully informed of these and did everything within his power to resolve matters and push the sale along. Communication throughout was comprehensive and honest. I knew what was going on at all times. I have since recommended Mark and Connells to everybody I know, whether they be buying, selling or renting.

would just like to express my disgust with your service. Me and my husband put an offer in for Prince Albert square on Saturday. When we put in the offer we were told we needed to see “a mortgage manager” to confirm our buying position/ id check. We provisionally booked this in, however weren’t happy as no other estate agent uses this process and used the words “so we can recommend your offer to the seller”. This promotes an auction like sale when it isn’t supposed to be. Secondly, we were told our viewing on Saturday would be a 1:1 and instead 4 other families showed up at that time and it was an open house. You were trying to encourage panic buying and it wasn’t stated before hand that it would be a group. Thirdly, whoever valuated the property needs to be retrained as you’ve valued it at £300-320k, when similar properties on that road sold fully furnished for £321k!! Lastly, I received a very rude voicemail today saying that we failed to attend our “ confirmation of buying position “ meeting. And that a staff member had stayed 30 mins after hours to accommodate the appointment, and that the seller has in fact declined our offer and refuses to negotiate further until we comply with Connels appointment- that sounds like a very threatning tone. We were advised to steer clear from Connels from several home owners but decided we would use our own judgement. How right they were! Your communication skills, customer service and professionalism is non existent and we shall not be using Connels for any house purchases in the future and will ensure our opinions are well known to the wider community. It is true how you have been described. You are nothing but “ a band of crooks / rogue gangsters”

The open house was a fab idea, and brought some very good results. Mark Shipp and I had a very intense relationship. How much more I should say, I don't know....someone might find this and read it. All I will say is that Mark advised me so well, and then sold my house so very quickly, I have been left wishing it had all taken a lot longer... They made the process and transition so smooth and were always on hand to provide advise, help and also answer any questions that we had. If there's one thing that we weren't really happy with, it was the solicitors. But this is no reflection on Connells. We recently sold our house with Connells Redhill and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Mark and his team were all so professional, friendly and reassuring which made the stressful moving house experience so much easier. We were keen to sell our house quickly and they did everything they could to ensure that this happened for us. At each stage of the process, they were able to explain, advise and help with even the smallest questions which really made us feel valued as a customer. Whenever I rang the office, it didn't matter who I spoke to, all the team were able to help me and most impressive of all, knew who I was! This doesn't happen with all estate agents! We were always kept in the picture as to what was happening with our sale so felt very reassured and confident that we were in good hands.
