GoogleAlthough we didn’t buy or sell through Barnard Marcus in the end, Oscar was very helpful with the houses we viewed and suggested options we might like to see. He was very professional and patient. I would like to say a huge thank you for your help Oscar.

Her relaxed approach allowed us to comfortably view and make an informed decision, and am extremely pleased we have recently completed on our property.

GoogleWhen looking to sell my family home of 30 years I went to a number of estate agents, I decided to go with Bernard Marcus as I felt Gareth came across the most professional and my decision was helped by seeing all the positive reviews they had on them. I can honestly say they did not disappoint! Gareth in particular did a fantastic job whilst we were negotiating with a very difficult buyer, but as a team, they kept me informed from start to finish and I had the full support I needed from them. We booked viewing no confirmation we called on the day of confirmation they booked multiple people without letting us know and we didn’t even get a chance to view the property in Godstone because he had a wrong house key! Wasted our time driving all the way and didn’t get to see the property.

GoogleWe made a cash offer on a property when it was on the market, and have now found out that it sold for lots less than we offered. We have found this estate agent to be very dismissive/racist/rude throughout our experience with them. One of the two branch managers openly refered to us in demeaning asian stereotype language, and we were seen as a joke to them (He forgot to put me on hold when transferring my call to the other branch manager). We still cant understand why this branch now has 2 branch managers, perhaps it is a sign of their incompetence!!

GoogleI experienced a disappointing sales call after enquiring about a property. They were not personable in any way, and before finding out about my needs, they were already passing on my details to a mortgage advisor, which I did not require or request. They then began to take my contact details and requirements in a very mundane manner, and I eventually ended the call. I recommend communicating with customers as human beings rather than reading a script / making money from mortgage advisor commissions.
