There was probably a bit of luck in them finding me a cash buyer in the first week but they showed their professionalism in their negotiations with the buyer throughout the sales process and I was particularly impressed by the support provided by Julie Liles in very actively progressing the sales process. I have bought and sold 6 houses of my own not counting the support provided to my daughters and this was the best service that I have received from an estate agent.

Great experience with James at Barnard Marcus Redhill.Always on the end of the phone and email when I needed him and really accommodating when I sprung a last minute viewing I needed to do with a builder on him,James went out of his way to make it happen even though I suspect it wasn’t very convenient,being such short notice. The whole team at this branch is fantastic. Very efficient and professional at all times. I would definitely recommend this branch for a super easy,efficient and friendly service.

Estate agents have had a lot of bad press in recent years so when we were looking to sell Mum's house (our family home of 50 years), we were cautious and expected the worst. Then we met Gareth King! He promised to take care of everything from start to finish and guided Mum (who is severely sight impaired) through the process with unfailing patience and dedication. He is a man of his word and never let us down. As the sale progressed, we received fantastic support from the rest of the team. James Barnard was a great help and his wide experience was very reassuring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gareth and his team as we have found them honest, trustworthy and reliable. Who knew estate agents could be the good guys?!

Moving house is certainly a 'rollercoaster' but the team at Barnard Marcus in Redhill were great. Supportive and encouraging throughout. From the outset the no nonsense approach to us (without the insincere waffle other agents offered) meant for an easy decision to choose Barnard Marcus - down to Gareth for sure! I cannot recommend Shaun White from the mortgage service from Barnard Marcus in Redhill highly enough. He did a fantastic job of helping first time buyers like us through the process of buying our home. We really didn't have any idea what we were doing when we first met with him, and hadn't been too impressed with other mortgage consultants we'd met with from other estate agents. From the moment we met Shaun we felt that we had someone on our side in this process - which was a rare feeling indeed!! My husband and I both left the branch after our first meeting with him feeling confident that we would be able to buy the house of our dreams and that Shaun was the man to help us. He took time to explain the basics of house buying, listen to our personal circumastances, talk us through what we could afford and to tell us more about the Redhill area, which we were not familiar with. We lost the first house we put an offer on, and Shaun went above and beyond to help us find another suitable house. He kept in constant contact, really listened to what our requirements were and then phoned whenever he saw a house that he thought might fit the bill. When we finally did find another house, he was with us every step of the way to guide us through the process of purchasing. We wanted to move in quickly, so there was a lot of pressure on the situation, but he was great at talking us through what was happening and helping whenever we felt confused or worried. 'Let's just call Shuan' was an invaluable thing to be able to say when we felt we didn't have anywhere else to turn. We called more than a few times, but he was patient enough to listen and offer advice each and every time, even when the concern wasn't specifically about the mortgage. We'd debated if we needed a mortgage consultant before we started this process (with so many other things to spend on when buying a house, we weren't sure what a consultant could offer), but having worked with Shaun, I have to say his service was the best investment we made in the whole process. More than the estate agents, solicitors, surveyors, etc - his help was certainly the best value for money. Shaun will really take the time to listen to your needs and concerns, and will offer sensible advice in a friendly and approachable way. I'm not sure we would have been able to buy a house without him, and we'll always be thankful for his help with such an important purchase.

Without Shaun White at Barnard Marcus Redhill branch we wouldnt have got our mortgage. We had already been told no by another mortgage consultant and advised to go away and rent for another 3 years by a 2nd consultant.We are now back on the property ladder and living in our own flat. As a customer of 'Sequence' from a previous mortgage, Barnard Marcus Redhill was my new local branch. I met with Shaun White and I'm so glad I did. Shaun has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me with the mortgage process, and makes it all feel so pleasantly easy. He is always on hand when you call or email and responds quickly and efficiently if he was previously unavailable. Shaun has dedicated untold amounts of time to me whilst I've been drifting between ideas of buy to let's, renovation projects and my own residential purchases, and he always found me a great mortgage. He spent the time going through my finances, affordability and what was best for me and what makes/saves me the most money. And he makes it happen! Along with such great customer relations, Shaun always seems to be able to get you a mortgage, and a great one at that. From start to finish these guys handled everything so professionally! From valuation to completion Gareth and Heather were so supportive. Gareth is a realist and tells you how it is rather than what he thinks you want to hear which is so refreshing. Heather is a star and always went the extra mile to get things done. Things are rarely, if ever, simple when selling and buying a home but these two made us feel like even though things got very stressful they were doing all they could to sort things out, and did very successfully! They replied to calls and emails really quickly and even when the news wasn't 100% what we wanted to hear didn't do the usual hiding routine or told lies to cover an issue which this industry has a reputation for doing so. If you are buying or selling I have no hesitation in recommending this branch. Our only real dealings were with Heather and Gareth but the whole team were great!

Booked a valuation even before the estate agents had officially opened, Gareth King the Branch manager came round, very professional and focused, gave us background on the company, how he saw the marketing of our house should we go ahead, the valuations he gave where sensible and I do believe achievable in today's market, he left us an information pack detailing the marketing strategy, we discussed next steps and a communication pathway and he left. We kept up communication by Email, and unfortunately we decided not to move due to personal reasons, I felt so strongly about the customer care and attention to detail we received from Gareth and his team I needed to let other readers know, when we are in a position to move we will be back.
