Brilliant service from start of the selling process through to the end with completion of sale. Gavin, Ria and Jess were the members of the team that I dealt with most, but I also spoke with Kevin, John and Alison as well as others. All were friendly, approachable, helpful, supportive and above all professional. They did a great job, despite a few hiccups cropping up. They kept me informed and calm when things got a little overwhelming for me and dealt with everything so well. Looking for a Managing Agent? Make sure you pay attention to your T's and C's with this company. They're pitch is good but you do not end up with what you think you will get. I was given the wrong information and was subject to a hefty exit fee, later rent payments then agreed and greater costs of day to day management then anticipated/discussed at the initial consultation. There was also an obvious reluctance to show more than the minimum of potential tenants around the property.

As a first time buyer I had heard some real horror stories about estate agents, and met a less than fantastic ones whilst viewing houses, so when me and my partner met Kevin from house&co we were really taken aback at how amazingly helpful, positive and honest he was. I used Darren for my very first mortgage back in 2000 and have used him on 6 occasions subsequent to that. Darren makes the process simple, he provides excellent advice and tailors the product to best fit the circumstances. I recently contacted Darren to get some advice on switching mortgage deals to fix the rates. He went through all the options with my current lender and others, outlined costs and benefits and had the whole process sewn up in less than 48 hours, saving me a significant amount per month and giving me peace of mind. Even though I am no longer local to Bristol, I wouldn't use anyone else, highly recommend Darren!

We chose to sell our house through House and Co because of their long running experience selling in the BS5 area. All the House and Co staff involved in the sale - Jon for the valuation, Mateusz for photos/video, Lee/Claire/Mateusz/Jon for viewings/offers, and Ria for solicitor contact aspects, were all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was not the easiest property to sell due to an historic resolved subsidence matter, but House and Co helped steer us through the sale process as smoothly as possible and try limit the stress of it. They took on board feedback we gave on the sale process to ensure we got the best outcome and were always responsive to our queries throughout. Victoria from House+Co mortgage is absolutely amazing. Not only did she make L&C look like clowns (like she promised she would), but as a first time buyer she went over and above what a mortgage broker does for you. In terms of getting me the best mortgage, absolutely aced it while giving great advice - but also great chasing and making sure I was doing what I needed to do. I felt like I had a great coach in the ring with me. As a first time buyer, you're really in the blind and feel like a deer in the headlights. Victoria was more than just a mortgage broker for me but really helped keeping me on course, dealing with my stupid worries and acting as a rock. Especially in these times of climbing rates and uncertainty, she was an amazing help just being there for me, even on the weekends if I had a crazy question or just wanted to ask her advice on any aspect of the housing process.
