A flawless experience from start to finish!

John Shepherd Shirley/Solihull have been absolutely incredible from start to finish with our sale.Special mentions to Jordan - who looked after us from start to finish & was helpful, knowledgable and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.Shannon was also a complete breath of fresh air. She went above & beyond constantly to keep us updated when our solicitors were difficult to get answers from & I’ve been blown away by her service and customer care. These two are real gems in a profession I know to be both stressful & highly pressured & have got us through the sale process flawlessly.I hope their hard work is rewarded as they are both huge assets to the company!

Amazing estate agents

John Shepherd estate agents are one of the best. Our application was easy, well-coordinated and stress-free. The staff are all professional and helpful, but Lily is outstandingly amazing. The apartments itself is what you see, what you get. We did an online viewing, and we decided to pay for the flats. We were happy when we saw the apartment physically. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Quentin Lee from John Shepherd had been very helpful since the first I contacted him, we were looking for a loft studio in Birmingham which is really popular there. The best estate agent I never used!

I didn’t opt to use John Shepherd when selling my house. I had nothing but issue after issue with my estate agents and solicitors. John Shepherd Cannock branch were the agents who sold me my house and honestly they were brilliant. I dealt with Natalie mostly but sometime Spoke with Mia and Adrian. They all went above and beyond to help me and I got more information and action from them than I did my own estate agents and solicitors. My only regret is that I didn’t use them in the first place. This is the worst place for tenants and…

This is the worst place for tenants and landlords❗️I did the application to rent a house (15 cherry walk) and I sent all the documents that I had to sent like payslips, p45, p60 and they took 4-5 weeks to proceed. The last thing they asked me is to give them access through a link to my online banking, this seem more like a fraud so be careful people. This people keep the properties of landlords on purpose for months and not renting them out as soon as possible so the landlords can pay their mortgage. If someone wants to rent a house don’t try it here because they’ll keep a deposit and make you wait a long time and they’ll find something so you don’t get a refund, so is not worth it the wait and for the landlords who want to rent out their property don’t waste your time here.

We have recently relocated from South Africa to Birmingham. In trying to secure a rental, I had called many agents and Smart Homes-John Shepherd Lettings was an agency that stood out from the rest. This is a very bad company. I had a bad experience with them. They don't know how to deal with tenants. Once I spoke to one of them ( I can give the details of this person and the brach), she shouted at me. If you have a problem with them, they don't tell the truth. If you see an adv for accommodation from them, please don't contact them even if the house/flat is very good. You will face a lot of problems after you sign the contract. They will cause a lot of trouble to you. I dealt with many agents (around 3) and this is the worst one. If you need more details about them just comment and I will tell the whole story

Happy customer!

We used this company to find tenants for our flat and were pleasantly surprised by the great service we received. The communication was great, I didn't have to prompt them or remind them about anything, and they've even responded quickly and efficiently to a couple of queries I had after their job was complete. Great sale in a difficult market

Jack Richardson and his team were excellent in handling the sale of my mother's retirement apartment as these are not easy to sell on the resale market. They organised professional photos ( not just estate agent photos) and wrote a text which brought out the strong selling points of the apartment. Which particular bad experience?

Which particular experience?Increasing their commission for no good reason? Not advising on rent valuations in the time of a steeply rising market? Giving the new tenants the wrong keys? Not being able to engage any tradesmen for routine repairs? Hideously expensive out-of-hours callout rates from their 'contracted out' service supplier?Or maybe dragging their feet passing information to a new letting agent I am moving my business to?Apologies for the very negative review, but I have only done this as I was asked to submit one!
