The Sutton Cold Field team namely Julie & Leah are shocking at customer service, with holding our deposit for no reason due to their inability provide us with a inventory of the property and accusing my partner of not handing a key when they have now "found"it as it was simply not handed in by their office team members. When you call they dont answer for a day and when you email there is no response either. I will definitely not recommend sending them any money as they are NOT trustworthy. Stay clear, I will not be sworn either, the manager of this branch is shocking!!!

Adrian did a fantastic job in selling my property. He explained the process thoroughly and what was expected and went above and beyond to answer any queries or questions, along with Mia who was a little star and kept me posted regularly with any updates. I also dealt with Natalie on several occasions who was able to answer any queries or questions and get back to me swiftly. I was initially with another estate agent but due to their incompetency, I moved to John Shepherd. Jordan was excellent in communicating with us in selling my house. They managed to find 2 buyers but unfortunately they pulled out at the last minute which was no fault of John Shepherd. Nevertheless, John Shepherd continued to work hard and found a reliable buyer within a few weeks.Natasha Watkins dealt with my sale and I have to say she was brilliant in answering my queries and communicating effectively. My lease for the apartment from another estate agent was taken over by john shepherd in feb 2024 and Caitlin was absolutely wonderful and helpful. He has done nothing but try to harrass us and left us with a filthy dirty house and if it hadn't been for Leah (Martindale) I don't know what we would have done.Leah has been an absolute star and stuck her ground with him which must have been so difficult considering how he spoke and treated her.

Where to begin - from my first meeting with Jordan all the way through to completion he was so dedicated, diligent and personable. He made life so much easier at such a stressful time. Bunch of thieves

Do not, i repeat do not apply for one of their properties, regardless as to whether you need a guarantor and then pay them the over £100 for referencing checks to take place. Granted, a box I did not acknowledge on the paper original form provided, I notified goodlord referencing about prior to ANY checks. The estate agent seeing that this was the case said there was a way around it and asked the landlord if they would take a tenant with a guarantor. Due to the landlords refusal, they said goodlord noticed the difference between both applications and thats why I was declined. I notified them in their application, just missed it on the original document. Requested to pay over 100 even though referencing was cancelled in the middle of processing my application, with references due. DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS, AT ALL- YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. EDIT: A over a year later a response, the typical display of the level of customer service to be expected. I went to the establisment in person to express my concern and no regard was given in the same way as this review. I can't emphasize my review enough and because I need to keep it clean, I will re-iterate DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS, AT ALL- YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
