Viewed a house which was sale by tender and told several times over following weeks that the deadline for bids had not been set. Next thing I know the house shows up on Zoopla as under offer!Called Ideal Locations asking if I could make an offer to be considered. They took the offer (£7k higher than the offer I was told had been taken to the seller) and my phone number. They never called back. Suspect an agent at the firm bought it himself for a bargain as he told me when I viewed it he wanted to but was having trouble raising the money. So the seller has lost out on a higher value sale and I have been left with a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid.

YellUnprofessional, unethical time wasters!
I have rented 5 properties in a few years time and since the last few months while I have been searching for a home to buy, I spoke to many agents. I have never come across in my life estate agents this unprofessional and unethical as Ideal Locations. We offered on a property they had advertised and they never responded to our offer emails. We raised the offer 2 times but still did not get a reply email. When we called, we were told they had high offers so they did not respond to anyone below that. Infact, they never were trying to sell. They had taken some token money off the seller to help them get an estimate of their house's worth and wasted time of 2 dozen families who came in to see the house and sent offers. Extremely disappointed on these bunch of cheats and unprofessional unethical hooligans. Stay away!
