We recently had the pleasure of buying a house in Norfolk with the help of Fine and Country in Diss. As an international estate agency trainer and property awards judge, I know a thing or two about what good estate agency looks like. The joined-up, sensitive and hard working service we received from their dedicated sales progressor Philippa Martinez was extraordinary from start to finish. She was a delight to deal with. Detailed, personal and on-it at every turn of an otherwise tricky purchase. A great example of why everyone should use a "proper" estate agent! Highly recommended.

I have had a horrible experience with…

I have had a horrible experience with this agent. Especially one lady called Claire Millington in Hull and north ferriby who seems to have some grudge against me. She is doing more damage to the vendors when I am offering the asking price and then she makes every possible effort to scuttle the deal.this has happened twice. Better avoid them though most of them are like that but I am sure some good will be still there.

F&C excellent service

F&C are a little more expensive than competitors however the extra cost is well worth it.They are the only estate agent I have ever used that are proactive and always contactable. Quite often after agreeing the contract estate agents are less than helpful but F&C were available daily to ensure the sale moved along effectively.The process from valuation to sale was efficient and clearly defined. The brochure was also much better quality than standard estate agents.I would highly recommend them if you want a good service and excellent communication.

They are selling a home, not a house

We had a first class experience with Fine & Country. From the first visit of Christopher, to the viewings, mostly led by Tom, and the very tortuous process of progress chasing by Julie, everything was super professional.The photography was great and showed the house and grounds very well.However the reason for the unequivocal 5 Star rating, is that everyone we dealt with realised that we were not just selling a house, we were selling our home. This made all the difference to us. Some people may wonder if it is worth paying the slightly higher commission that Fine & Country charge. Based on our experience, we would say 100% yes. The kindness, professionalism and attention to detail were exemplary. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great, profesional service

A big thank you to all the staff at the Fine and Country office in Diss following the sale of our house. Chris provided us with sound advice and judgement at the start of the process with Tanya handling the prospective clients in a highly professional way. Sue, in the office, was an excellent guide to the management of the process and Julie Vassar worked closely with us keeping us informed all through the purchasing process which proved reassuring. Should be held accountable

I don't know why this company has so many glowing reviews? The website is misleading and contains properties in London that are no longer available, because they don't maintain their website. Even their Barnes agent said don't bother calling because it's all AI robots answering the phones. I found them unhelpful and deceptive and I wouldn't recommend the west London part of the company.

I sent a very simple question to the West Malling office about a property. I made it clear that I wanted an email reply. Instead I got a standard email response from a no-reply email address. The email did not address my question.I had previously asked a verbal question of a different Fine & Country office and was bombarded with unwanted and irrelevant calls. They need to listen.

A positive sale. 👍Diss office.

When Chris Scott came to give me an estimation of valuation of my property I was quite surprised with quite a bold figure. But he assured me that my property was fairly unique, and it was. We managed to achieve £25000 over the asking price. !!! The office staff at Diss were professional and understanding. Once the offer was accepted Philippa took over the day to day running of managing the sale. We had a few bumpy moments through the relatively short chain but we exchanged yesterday and complete Wednesday 13th July 2022. I would undoubtedly recommend Fine and Country for selling a bespoke house of character, basically because of their boldness and professionalism. Also I have to say that their description and photos of the property were extremely excellent. Thanks. Mark

Chepstow office are a bit like the old…

Chepstow office are a bit like the old double glazing salesmen, you just cannot get rid of them. Every few weeks we get a letter telling us that our current agents are no good and use F&C. However when you email, they ignore it, They never answer the landline 01594 715444 and Richards mobile 07970 237304 is the same and usually goes to answerphone. And all I want to do is get off the mailing list, however what if I wanted to buy the house you are thinking of listing with them?? I would have given up a long time ago.Plus they use 'The Homeowner' to get round the Mailing Preference Register, that I am registered on but letters addressed such are unregulated.If it was me I would look elsewhere for an agent, Purple Bricks for example - £1000 and listed for 5 years if you are not in a hurry to sell (like us Richard so take us off the list pleeeeeeeeeeease)
