GoogleI was a foreign student who has no idea of where to leave when i arrive the city. Rebbeca (member of the wamsley staff) was very helpful and helped me find something perfect for me. I was really please with the building and my room, which was big and comfortable. If I ever have to go back, I definitely will go with them to help me find something! The only thing it could imporve is that the heater were regulated from the room

GoogleWe have cleaned for Walmsley for 9 years and they have a fantastic range of properties that are always kept to a great standard, I have always found the staff more than helpful and as a contractor they go out of their way to assist us as well as being very professional and courteous to members of the public whether that is a tenant or Landlord, I would have no hesitation to let my property through them or recommend them

GoogleI have been living in Martindale Court for several years. The living condition has been a lot improved since 2015 as there was a major refurbishement for all the ktichens in the building. There are two lovely cleaning ladies coming everyday to clean the public area; most of the tenants are very considerate to keeping both the kitchen and the bathroom as clean and tidy as possible. There are also regular security partol and security check of differnt kinds in the buildling, so I always feel safe and comfortable here. It really feels like a home for me in the UK! Rebecca and Ylenia are lovely people, they help me and many other international students to find a room and quickly settle in, so we don't need to worry much about accomodation, which is a huge relief for international students like us. These two lovely ladies are also always willing to help with no matter what issues or problems the tenants might have. I want to recommend Walmsley Estate and Lettings Agency, and Martindale Court in particular to students who are coming to study in Reading. I beleive you will also find a home here!

GoogleThey are the worst Letting agent I have ever encountered !! I rented a property which was managed by them. At the start of tenancy they will make you to go through the inventory with them and sign the document before handing over the house keys. It took more than four hours to verify that inventory document as it was incorrect and minutely written. It appeared as if they were using the same inventory document from previous years without reviewing it. I found lot of cleaning issues. Beth who came for inventory check-in was very rude and impatient and I complained against her but no action or apologies from their side. They are very lazy when you want to get something repaired. My family was left without heating and hot water for few days and they didn't bother to get someone quickly. I had to complain to the Council against them. I terminated the tenancy as soon as six month are completed. The checkout inventory document was just two page document and without sufficient photos.Now they want to deduct money from the deposit claiming that house requires minor cleaning and not providing sufficient proofs to justify the deductions and I have now raised the dispute against them to get the deposit. They might be good for home owner and definitely won't recommend as a tenant.

GoogleSeriously one of the nicest lettings agents you’ll ever deal with. I have lived and rented houses for the last 15 years across 10 cities and these guys are heads and shoulders above others. Based on both the start of tenancy and during tenancy, i would highly recommend using them whether as tenant or landlord. Their fees are reasonable, they are patient and attentive and always take the time to give you answers and guidance. Thank you!

GoogleA great agency and very professional people. Unlike the many crook letting agencies in Reading who charge extortion amount of money from people who want to rent a property, their costs were very reasonable. If you are a landlord, I would highly recommend that you rent your property through them. Their checks were very through and surely your property will go in no time due to their reasonable costs. For tenants, I will equally recommend to rent through them. My experience was great. Thank you very much, Jenny, Francesca and Kim.

Do not trust Walmsley agents. They will not listen to your complaints; fix anything and when you have finally had enough of them you will be ripped off for cleaning and repairs that don't need doing. One in particular to look out for is JENNY STARK who will illegally add items to your check out to do list at the end of your tenancy AFTER you have signed it and send you a bill knowing they can just take it from your rent deposit. The rent deposit scheme is a joke and allows this sort of behaviour by agents and landlords. WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

GoogleWhen everything is working correctly and you don't have to contact them no issues (who would have guessed), however, the moment anything isn't working we were not provided any for around 3 months, just to remove a sofa the previous tenant had dump in our garage. The icing on the cake, replacing our broken washing machine with another broken washing machine.

Paula, Craig, Janet and the entire team were never pushy with our sale or any offers we made, and instead offered clear and honest advice throughout the process. GoogleI paid Walmsley to find me a buyer and they did so before my house went on the market. OK the fee was eye-watering but it was no more than other estate agents charged. They know the local market inside out and gave helpful advice when nursing the sale along. I chose them because they'd sold my neighbour's house and two of the houses opposite - glad I did.

This is a very personal service, like a family run business and although moving is hugely stressful, all the team at Walmsley did their utmost to ensure as smooth a time as possible. They are always cheerful, encouraging and clearly very experienced. An absolute pleasure to do business with and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

As a landlord, I would say Walmsley are the best letting agent I’ve used . I have found the team proactive, understanding, polite and efficient. The lettings team even helped with the sale of my house. This is unlike Other property agents I’ve encountered who are super efficient at collecting money but evasive when it comes to doing any work.

GoogleWalmsley offered an excellent service to me during the sale of my home. Our buyer proved difficult to deal with but the staff at Walmsley stuck to the task doggedly making sure that we were kept up to date with developments at all times and offering good advice whenever necessary. I think without Walsmley's help we would still be trying to close the sale now.

GoogleWhen I was searching for a property Walmsley Letting Agents were the most helpful agents I came across. They found me a property within a few days which was perfect for me. They were far cheaper to use than many of the others. I had a very swift, easy experience with them. I would definitely recommend them to others looking to rent a property.
