Exceptional Service From Scott Stevens

We moved into a property in Clifton, Bristol last year with Romans. Since our first interaction, Scott Stevens has been an absolute delight to work with. Scott has consistently been kind, compassionate, incredibly hard-working and has answered all of our questions promptly. In all the years I have rented, Scott has comfortably been the best letting advisor I have encountered. I honestly can't stress enough how easy he has made the process of moving into a new home for my partner and I. I could not recommend Scott more highly if you planning to let with Romans.

Fantastic service.

I met Christine Lancaster since January 2020 I rented this property, she is a wonderful property manager to me. Anytime I needed something to be fixed in the house she didn't hesitate to get it solved. English is not my first language so sometimes I find it a bit difficult to explain my needs but she'll be patient and polite untill she gets what I meant.

I have been with Romans for 28 years

I have been with Romans for 28 years and they manage my Bath property. I live in Australia and rarely get the chance to visit them in person. I have always found that I they have managed my property with the minimum of fuss and dealing via e-mail has been seemless and overcome distance and time differences with no effort.

The Worst Estate Agents Ever!

The team at Romans High Wycombe were the worst I have ever come across. I have been renting since I was eighteen and have never experienced such a disregard for my health or well being. I took on the property in June and was plagued with heating and hot water problems. The property was damp and destroyed both my skin and chest. I actually paid my rent in full and moved out of the property early. Lisa is unprofessional having lied to me and ignored my complaints. She left me in freezing temperatures without both hot water and heating. I find the team in High Wycombe especially the property manager Lisa both disgusting and morally without conscience. I would not recommend Romans to anyone.

Scott Stevens was amazing to work with, throughout the whole process - they wanted nothing but to find me the right place and did exactly that! Scott and Abigail Jones have been nothing but helpful, updating me whenever possible - even to let me know there’s no updates just yet.The process in reporting to the Building Manager to get things sorted has been slow as the contractors were meant to do it when I moved in two months ago… but good other than that.

I have just completed on a property and dealt with Romans Maidenhead branch. Both Adam and Chloe supported and guided me through the process along with Cheryl who joined at the end. All three were brilliant. They got me answers quickly and worked with both solicitors to push the sale on. My only advice would be to get the move managers involved far earlier in the process. As soon as Cheryl was involved things moved very quickly. This would have really helped to have her earlier in in the process.Thank you all. You were great

We were renting from Romans agency in Bath. We left as soon as our contract ended. We got a flat in a building with a night club and homeless shelter across the street. And nobody tell us this. Apart from the noise and questionable security, what about the crowds every day and every third night in a middle of pandemic? Bottles, glasses, handkerchiefs or just semiliquid waste on the street. Everybody is free to do whatever he wants but I had to be witness of this for 6 months? This is deception, as a solicitor told me.We were renting from Romans agency and never again.

Romans sold our property but unfortunately our buyer pulled out. Lauren Dearlove who works at the Reading branch has been brilliant in trying to find us a new buyer, she keeps us updated with viewings and their feedbacks and promptly answers our questions. Lauren is a very friendly person and not the stereo-typical estate agent and she's been more than helpful and listens to our concerns even if its out of office hours. I have been renting a flat with Romans for the last 5 years now. In general the service is good. But recently I had an issue which required an urgent resolution. I called the office and Sarah George was absolutely superb. Sarah was not just polite but showed real interred in my situation, arranged for the appropriate contractor to come to my place immediately and the issue was resolved in a few hours. Professional Service and Helpful staff - Lower Earley

Lower Earley Branch - After reading the reviews, other branches do not seem so successful, however this branch is very good. Staff respond promptly to queries and a very helpful and friendly. I am happy to be renting on of their properties as I feel looked after. Other estate agents in the area were very unprofessional and lacked prompt communication. Antony is particularly helpful. I only knock one star off as it was not disclosed within the tenancy the frequency of inspections to my property, this part was very vague.

Good service and we are very happy customers.

We chose Romans to sell our property as Ian Lewis was the most professional and friendly of several we met. The sales process was well managed throughout, a buyer was found quickly and the sale could have been concluded quickly, but for issues with the purchase of our new property. Ian also assisted with that, where possible. Both properties complete in 1 week and we are happy to recommend Romans in Wokingham.
