I have been working with Emily from the Maidenhead branch for over a year now who manages my property. She is phenomenal in getting issues solved and even saved me £7,000 on a repair that was not needed from her own investigation! TL;DR: full asking price quickly with Prospect, where 3 other agents had failed to even find an offer for the property. * * * * The team at Prospect, and our main contact Adam in particular, have been spectacular. They've been the best estate agents we've ever worked with. They'll probably be the best estates we will ever work with in our lives. Absolutely exceptional at every stage - from sales and marketing to transaction support. The day we completed, as I was driving to pick up the keys to our onward purchase, I was thinking about how good they were and how I was going to express that in this review, and I started to get misty-eyed. Twice. They were THAT good. Here are some of the cold hard facts: Prior to engaging Prospect, we'd been on and off the market for the prior 2 years. In that time, we had been listed with 3 separate agents, and had spent a cumulative 12 months on the market. First viewings were sporadic, second viewings almost unheard of, no offers whatsoever. In just 1 month on the market with Prospect, we'd had more viewings than in all the time on the market with other agents put together. We ended up with not just one but four - four! - very credible prospective buyers making offers, with a modest bidding war erupting to drive up a couple of initially low-ball offers. We ended up choosing between a set of very good offers, and sold for full asking price to a lovely buyer. I believe the extremely different outcome with Prospect came down to two main factors: first, Prospect's marketing - all agents we'd work with did good photos and write-up, but theirs had the edge, for sure, the place looked gorgeous on the listing. And second, their very proactive and professional sales machine. Ours was (unfortunately) not a property that sold easily straight off a Rightmove listing (no matter how good the photos looked!) - it was a more niche buy for the right buyer. And Prospect did a terrific job in working proactively to find the right kinds of buyers to view the property - even from the first weekend of viewings it was clear that the people coming through the door were far more serious prospects to purchase than the typical viewings we'd had with other agents, which tended to be much more casual, much less well-suited. Everyone who came through the door when listing with Prospect were very qualified and very interested prospective buyers, and we ultimately received multiple offers. But perhaps even more than all of that was the outstanding post-offer support we received. The "solicitors" phase of the transaction was fraught with challenge, and support from the Prospect team and Adam in particular was crucial to getting the deal over the line. Above and beyond the call of duty throughout. Without that incredible support, I'm quite sure the deal would have fallen apart. We couldn't be more thankful for everything, at every stage. We are hugely relieved to have finally sold the property, delighted with the price achieved in the sale, and really enjoying our new life in our new home. We will be forever grateful. Thank you.

Misleading

Prospective landlords and tenants beware. My experience with Prospect Lettings (Bracknell) has involved 13 months of unaddressed severe disrepair and pigeon infestation, leading to a formal Statutory Nuisance determination by the Public Protection Partnership (Council). The agency repeatedly provided misleading information, failed to maintain the property, and issued a retaliatory Section 8 notice after council intervention. Do not be fooled by early-stage 5-star reviews requested before problems arise. Avoid at all costs.

Beth Murphy was my point of contact at Prospect and whilst we didn’t buy or sell our property through the agency I have to say she was one of the best agents I dealt with. Beth really understood and took onboard what we were looking for and she would keep in contact with me enough for me to know that I hadn’t been forgotten about but not in an overbearing way - we were also able to pick up where we left off from the previous conversation and she was genuinely delighted when I was able to update her to say we had sold and also found something. Whilst I understand there are sales targets and KPI’s… unlike with other agencies I never felt like Beth called just to tick a box or sent me an email about a house that was completely unsuitable just to say she had sent it to X number of people. As a busy mum of three when you are looking for property you need to have agents like Beth who won’t waste your time, will give you measured mature and honest information about the market and houses and just generally appreciate what life can be like. I really enjoyed speaking to Beth - an asset to your company.

Beth Murphy - the best!

We met Beth at our first viewing a few months ago. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every property she showed us, more than once working later than her normal hours to accommodate our timescales. We did see quite a few properties (!) but Beth was never impatient and made us feel that we needed to be sure it was right for us. Then she efficiently got the ball rolling with solicitors and regularly chased up each party. Although I have no complaints about my selling agents, I just wish I had placed my property for sale with Beth at Prospect!

I used to be a Tennant with prospects…

I used to be a Tennant with prospects for 6 years. All was well and good throughout the tenancy, a few hiccups through out including tradespersons who lie about work being conducted. however the worst part was at the end of the tenancy where all communications cease, you get ignored for days on end, and you get stung by deductions that are un-reasonable and unjustifiable; especially when you have 6years of excellent property inspection reports and never any warnings or concerns raised. They lie to you and only own up when a subject access request is submitted. Be cautious, keep all emails and communications with them and when it comes to tenancy terminations I advise just use the TDS to support you!

Professional and friendly agents

Prospect have been very professional and friendly whilst organising the tenancy for our flat in Reading. Chira Gavaghan and Beckie Baxter in particular were extremely receptive, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire sign-on process. The only detriment to Prospect's business is their use of GoodLord, who failed multiple times to follow up on referencing, ultimately causing major delays in our signing and a lot of unnecessary worrying regarding our move! Both Chira and Beckie were extremely reassuring during this, and I am grateful for their pragmatism and helpfulness.

My experience with Bracknell prospect has been great.
