Dear Mr Smead, Unfortunately we cannot release a deposit unless we have agreement from both parties. We received this 3 days ago and have requested your bank details. Once we receive your bank details, you will have the deposit returned. Regards

I’m extremely upset to see the review you have posted on google as several members of the team have spent time investigating this for you, by phone and email correspondence. We understand you are referring to an incident where utilities, namely Thames Water, bills were transferred into your name. This change was not actioned by NEA Lettings nor the Landlord and the signed Tenancy Agreement clearly states the rent was inclusive of bills. We were made aware in September 2020 by yourself that you had wrongly received a bill from Thames Water and immediately contacted them to have this amended. As far as we were aware this matter had been resolved and haven’t heard anything since until you contacted us again on March 14th 2022 to advise otherwise. We provided you a copy of the tenancy agreement without delay as evidence and together with details of the other suppliers once we were informed so that you could establish whether this was an isolated incident. We also contacted the landlord and received written confirmation of current suppliers and that all bills were paid up to date. Whilst we appreciate this is extremely time consuming and frustrating for you and are sorry that you experienced these issues, however we feel we have done everything we can to assist and this poor rating is unfair.

Dear Sir Kindly research which agency this complaint should be registered against as Nicholas Estate Agents LLP, 7 Prospect Street, Caversham, Reading RG4 8JB is a different business and in different ownership to Nicholas Letting Agents Ltd, who operate from 19 Gosbrook Road, Caversham RG4 8BT. I would be grateful if you would deal with this as a matter of urgency and remove the allegation against Nicholas Estate Agents LLP. David Allen Nicholas Estate Agents LLP
