GoogleStay away!!! We had our house valued a couple of months ago. I was very shocked and surprised to hear that our property was valued nearly £100,000 (One hundred thousand pounds) less than two other agents. I contacted Davis Tate and asked them a series of reasonable questions for clarification for this reduced price. They did not reply to any question, instead they told me to pay for a chartered surveyor and get another quote! I obtained another two quotes from local reputable estate agents and found that Davis Tate seriously undervalued my five bedroom property in a very sort after catchment area. I felt very disappointed about the quality of service and lack of professionalism and would not rate them with even one star if I had the option.

GoogleI've been a tenant in one of Davis Tate's managed properties for a about a month now and overall, I've found Davis Tate staff to be very friendly and have enjoyed a good relationship with Jane Matthews, our property manager, in particular. I've found Jane Matthews to be extremely helpful and prompt in helping with the teething problems we've had. Where we've had reasonable complaints, Jane has quickly worked to resolve them and push hard for a fair resolution. It's really fantastic to have such a great professional relationship and I hope Jane sticks around for the duration of our tenancy!

GoogleI was shown around a property in Reading by Charlotte who was friendly, enthusiastic and proactive in sharing information about the surrounding area. She listened to any concerns I had and was able to offer information when needed. All in all it was a great viewing and I really felt I had the right amount of time to look around (rather than being moved on quickly which I have been in some other cases). A very pleasant experience!

GoogleHaving been a Davis Tate tenant for some 18 years, I feel well qualified to comment on their performance and level of service. After being introduced to the property by Mathew Davis, their property manager Linda looked after me very well for many years. My current manager, Tanya Capone-Taylor has recently been faced with a multiplicity of property related issues and has dealt with all of these in a speedy and very professional manner, every request being acted on almost immediately and managed to conclusion. For the most part their suppliers emulate the same principles with courtesy and reliability. It seems many other letting agents could learn from Davis Tate. The result is peace of mind which incentivises one to be a good tenant. “Bouquet’s to the living” !
