GoogleUnlike many others who have posted here, we had the most horrific experience with Hawes and Co. We rented a house through this agency, and have had nothing but issues with the flat as well as some of the most atrocious customer service from Katie and Tracy. Both of these people repeatedly and shamelessly lied to us, throughout the application process and tenancy itself. In every interaction we felt fobbed off, as we struggled to get both the agency and the landlord to abide by the terms in our tenancy agreement. We found Katie to be particularly difficult, where she refused or was not capable of listening and responding in a sensible or coherent manner. To those people who are currently renting with this agency, good luck to you. I hope you have a better experience than we did. If you are considering renting with them, honestly, walk on by and go somewhere else. Katie and Tracy will tell you what you want to hear, but never show any interest after that.

GoogleRecently purchased a property in Raynes Park with the help of Damien Anderson from Hawes and have to say that the entire process was made easier with his help. Very professional and on hand at all times with assistance throughout the entire buying process. He was particularly good at giving straight answers when we needed it, which is important when making such large purchasing decisions. Would recommend Damien for anyone looking to sell/buy.

GoogleWe were told to make an offer asap till the next day morning, because on the next day the agent was going to send all the offers to landlord and choose the tenants, and we did. However, it was a surprise that our agent had a day off that day, which means there was no sense in such a hurry. We made an offer to rent a property above the advised price because we had an additional request. Our offer was accepted along with our request. Later it turned out that our request could not be done, so we decided to proceed with the price listed in the first place. However, we were told that for us it is only possible to proceed with the increased price, despite the fact that we did not have any additional requests anymore. The property was advertised on the market again by the initial price, but then we were told again that for us this price is unacceptable, only the increased one.

He patiently took me through a variety of properties after much indecision, and helped talk over the various pros and cons of each with balanced and empathetic consideration. When it came to putting our offer in he was transparent and fairly represented the sellers interests as well as our own. We feel very fortunate with how smoothly it all went.
