GooglePoor communications and vetting of potential tenants for landlords. Even though we agreed to drop rent, tenants were still not vetted and have made several breaches of the tenancy . In addition we have been sent 2 overdue rent demands , where we rent now, with no communication regarding a new tenancy contract and collection company. Even though we have requested details for these nothing has been done, poor customer service considering the charges involved. Dear Ozel, we are sorry that you have felt the need to post this spurious account. When you asked us to place your own property on the market we suggested a price which you thought was too low. We marketed it at your price and when there was little interest you accused of not marketing the property properly. However, you agreed to a price reduction which of course had the desired effect, and a prospective tenant was found. The tenants were of course vetted through a reputable referencing agency. You wanted to manage the tenancy yourself and because you have had some issues with the tenants you are blaming us. Even though we are not a managing agent we have given you our advice on how to handle the issues free of charge. With regards to you renting a property through our agency as a tenant, we have just renewed your tenancy for a further 12 months. We had a conversation with your partner at the end of January to see if you wanted to renew your tenancy. She said that she would speak with you and get back to us. Nothing was heard from you until 1st March. If you had contacted us before the tenancy was due to be renewed you would not have received any rent demands. Disappointing tenant/landlord to deal with. We have emailed you the contact details for the Property Ombudsman should you wish to take the matter further.

GoogleI have rented out my property with Barratts now for about ten years . Their business has grown during this time but they have managed to retain the caring family atmosphere. They are highly professional, helpful and friendly. Any enquiries or problems have been solved extremely quickly either by themselves or by a group of professionals they trust. I have visited their offices but most of my interaction with them is by email - either way, the service is the same good standard. Highly recommended.
