GoogleIn the last two years I have purchased three flats through MGY and have found their Sales Team and Management to be excellent with great service and able to coordinate the purchases by liaising with the Sellers and both sets of Solicitors. Timetables were met on each purchase and support was given in liaising directly with my Mortgage Broker. I have also used MGY’s fantastic Residential Lettings Department which have given my wife and I a complete service including advising on rents, selecting appropriate Tenants, managing the inventories and tenancy agreements for the four flats that we own and managing their tenancy agreements and their renewals. We have complete confidence in their ability to resolve all issue that arise and are kept up to date with six monthly inspections and costs of any repairs required.

GoogleWe recently sold our house with MGY Radyr and James Thomas and his entire team were an absolute joy to work with. They were friendly, professional, supportive every step of the way. James's valuation of our house was the most thoroughly researched and his advice and support was excellent as was the communication and updates from the whole team. We were so glad we went with a local Estate Agent, we had considered using an online agent as in our ignorance we had no idea of what selling a house involved, thank goodness we didn’t! Our buyer’s surveyor conducting their mortgage valuation also mentioned that she took on board the fact that we'd used someone local. We couldn’t fault the service we received. We wholeheartedly recommend MGY Radyr, a truly first class service.

GoogleI viewed and rented a property with MGY and they were fantastic. All concerns were dealt with professionally and the team are very helpful. Nicola initially met us for our first viewing, and was very quick in processing everything we needed to move in quickly. The end of tenancy was also stress free with Suzanne, who ensured we had all the information we needed for a smooth move. Great team

GoogleThe number one responsibility for landlords and agencies is to provide tenants with security, yet despite being informed that the key to an apartment was identical to the front door of a shared apartment. Your agency refused to do anything about it. Any time the tenant left the premises she had to take all her personal belongings with her. You have caused extreme anxiety and stress to a tenant who has fragile health. The final straw came when a waste pipe in the cellar of the apartment burst showering her stored items with heaven knows what. You have demonstrated an absolutely disregard for this tenant.NegativeResponsiveness
Thank you for your feedback Raymond, we are dismayed that you felt compelled to write a review. Security (of our tenants and our landlord's properties) is our number one priority. The key in question is a security key, which provides access to the communal front door, however each key is specially coded to uniquely open only the internal front door of each particular tenant's apartment. The key system is extremely secure as these keys can only be cut by a specialised company, following a strict authorisation process. Reassurance was previously given to our tenant and these facts explained on multiple occasions, unfortunately no avail. We are also upset to hear of the burst pipe in the cellar (to which only this tenant had access). Issues like this are rapidly escalated and an emergency plumber would have been immediately called had we been notified. Unfortunately, the tenant failed to inform us of this. In summary, we are sorry to hear that, despite our best efforts, this tenant's experience was unpleasant and we can only wish them all the very best since they have now vacated the premises. -mgy-

GoogleHad booked an appointment... when we got there they had no idea why we were there no appointment booked in even though we were signing for keys.. No idea if the keys were the right ones for the house. Their mannor was a bit sarcastic and they were disagreeing between themselves about who and what was responsible for the errors in front of us , which was a bit embarrassing.. our rental propertys carpets were stained and grubby they insisted they had been professionally cleaned and the stains wouldnt come out so we had to put up with it... for a £1000 pound a month rental property, this was just unacceptable in my opinion.
Carolyn, we are sorry that you feel your move in experience was not acceptable. You were aware that the property was not actively being marketed by MGY. The landlord was deciding whether to rent or sell the property, as we had recommended that new carpets be fitted (amongst other things). We understand you personally know the landlord and, as you needed a property very quickly, they agreed to rent it you 'as seen' as a favour. We did however, arrange a full professional clean (including the carpets) and expedited this to ensure you had somewhere to live within 7 days. We apologise if there was some confusion over the keys, but these were only delivered to us shortly before you came in to collect them. We hope this explains the situation and wish you the very best in the property. -MGY-

GoogleSure, I called to make a viewing on a property and didn't find your staff very helpful or knowledgeable about the details on the house, there was also no interest in finding a time to view the house, just "sorry we don't have time that day". They didn't even ask for my name or phone number to follow up with an alternative day. Hence the 3 stars.

GoogleDisappointment! This agency was advertising faulty info. The below was being advertised as 2-bed house however it is only a 1-bed house in radyr. It waste of time to travel to view the property or communicate with liars.
