As I’m not local, I thought the practicalities would be difficult, but they made what I expected to be a very time consuming and stressful event, much easier. In what was a complicated chain with a lot of issues along the way, MGY were a brilliant support. James H was exactly the right balance of professional and friendly - always willing to answer the phone, reply to emails and do the legwork to sort out problems as they occurred. He restores your faith in estate agents! The photos of our property were well done; the brochure was well presented. Nicky G in the sales progression team kept us up to date at all times and always phoned back when she said she would. It took a long time to complete, but the MGY team took a proactive approach to the sale from the initial viewings to handling offers and completing the deal. We would definitely recommend them to other people thinking about selling their homes. We were never put under pressure, and always felt they were doing the very best for us.

We had a very non straightforward chain, with many complications over an 8 month period, however we could not fault MGY from marketing our home to following through the sale right through to the end. Karen in sales progression went over and above what we expected, keeping us up to date at all times, and having to deal with very complicated and difficult clients down the chain. It was a very stressful time for all involved, but MGY were brilliant. Thanks for everything and trying to make things as smooth as possible.

A shocking company to deal with ! I vacated a house that I rented through them, and agreed with them that I could return within a few days to collect a couple of items I was unable to take at the time (all documented in writing), and then (after agreeing to this) to be told "tuff luck" you can not have your £500 worth of items back and we are going to dispose of them and charge you for this. Police and small claims court now involved. Be warned ! do not rent a house or flat from these unscrupulous rogues.

Go with anyone else. They rented a home to us that hadn't been cleaned and was full of other peoples' used things (toothbrushes, prescription medication, used urine pads...). They acted surprised when we questioned this, and instructed us to have the items removed at our own expense. The best thing I can say about the experience is that we were able to get out of the lease early. Absolute nightmare.
