We recently sold our old and purchased our new house through MGY after a bad experience with a previous estate agent. The support provided by James and his team was exceptional, James went over and above anything we could have expected and made a real difference to us ending up in the right house. Steph from the Heath branch was also amazing, we can't recommend MGY enough, we would give 10 stars if we could, our move wouldn't have happened without their hard work & support.

Absolutely awful. We had actual Emergencies where the so called emergency contacts wouldn't pick up. And only called back the next day. Any time we reported anything, they wouldn't respond. What's they point of out if hours Some issues were reported but they wouldn't fix them. We reported mold coming in from the outside wall several times throughout the tenancy but they never did anything about it, which is a serious health hazard. There is only so much tenants can do if the mold isn't just on the surface. And it's clear why the house was empty for months before us. They are now trying to cut money off our deposit for something we haven't done and when I called to find out how much we'd be charged the handler just told me I'd have to speak to someone else as she wasn't involved in it but as I asked for them to get that agent to call me back they hung up half way through. Ridiculous customer service all throughout the process and would recommend that if you have a choice, do not use mgy. You are not safe in their hands Take note that majority of positive reviews are only for people selling homes, not people renting with them

My wife and I moved from Cape Town (South Africa) to Cardiff, and it's a very daunting experience, as we knew nothing of the area. We contacted a number of agents before we arrived, and most did not reply or the service we received was terrible. Jeffrey Ross as an example had excellent communication prior to our arrival, but their in person service was really shocking, and put us off. Then on our last day of viewings we met Suzanne and Karen from MGY Radyr, and were just blown away by their professionalism and world-class service! Everything was a breeze to get through and they both helped us navigate all the different rules and regulations in the UK when leasing a property.The property we leased from them is of an extremely high standard, and the landlord even more so. We couldn\'t be happier!MGY will be our agents for life now, including when we eventually buy a property one day.Thank you MGY! I have just moved to Radyr with the help of MGY and Suzanne Mackenzie and am very gratefully for the service I have received. I was based in Manchester, so travel to Cardiff was making finding a property very difficult. Suzanne very kindly ordered a virtual viewing on the phone so avoiding 8 hrs of driving, which made the process far easier. The property I originally looked at was taken by an earlier viewer, but Suzanne was able to arrange for me to look at another really nce property which I have now taken. We have recently moved from a property which we rented for just over 3 years from MGY, in particular the Radyr office. Suzanne Mackenzie was our Lettings Agent and she is an absolute credit to MGY, as are the other staff who work in that office. From the first time we met Suzanne at the property, we felt very welcomed. Suzanne was warm, welcoming, easy to get along with, always had a smile on her face and has a great personality and we were under no pressure whatsoever, we were able wander around in our own time, get a feel for the property and Suzanne was on hand to answer any questions. From this initial impression of Suzanne and the excellent property that is just one of many on their books we knew that MGY were the letting agents for us. In the 3 and a bit years of living there nothing was too much for Suzanne and the rest of the staff in Radyr, not that we needed to contact them that much. The phone was always answered with a smile and if whoever we needed to speak to wasn't available we ALWAYS had a call back. We've used several lettings agents in the past but should we need to rent again MGY will be our first choice. We would recommend MGY to anyone who is looking to rent or buy a property and also to any landlords looking for a very reputable agency to let their property. We couldn't fault MGY at all from there professionalism, knowledge and customer service was to a high standard From when we started house viewings in different areas around cardiff advertised with a range of different estate agents, you quickly realise the competency and professionalism of estate agents. MGY always came out on top. Throughout the viewings/buying process clare was amazing whenever we asking questions always got back to us with the answers in a speedy manner, and didn't make us feel like we were a bother at all, a high level of customer service always going above and beyond. Even when clare wasn't in the office/available James helped us to the same level of friendly service and went out of his way to help us even though we had never met him.
