We have been using The Property Centre for decades. We purchased our 1st home through them and have used them ever since. We have purchased almost all of our rental properties through them, and they have been the managing agents since 2013. They have been great. I have had many agents try and tempt me away but The Property Centre have been fantastic. I have never had a reason to go elsewhere.

We recently purchased a property advertised for sale through Property Centre Quedgeley. Having sold via their Tuffley Branch last year we knew we were in safe hands. We negotiated the purchase via James who kept us up to date and also had several viewings with Tracy who always answered all of our questions. Sophie (sales progressor) then was on hand to provide regular, weekly updates on progress so we knew where everything was up to. I genuinely do not understand how this company can call itself award-winning. If this is the standard that wins awards, then the bar must be underground. The property I am currently in has been allowed to deteriorate into an absolutely disgraceful state. Over the past three years, I have reported 62 separate issues. Out of those, a grand total of 8 have been fixed. Eight. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. We have had a leak ongoing for over two years that they have repeatedly failed to resolve. As a result, cupboards have collapsed, floors have suffered serious water damage, and the property has been left to rot literally. There is rotting, unstable decking, loose window frames, and window seals completely gone, making the property cold, damp, and inefficient. The front door is broken. The front door handle is broken. The alarm system is broken. The intercom system was removed entirely because it was deemed dangerous and never replaced. Condensation issues are constant and severe. And that’s just scratching the surface. They had the audacity to claim the EPC rating was a B. I didn’t believe them, so I paid for an independent EPC assessment. The real rating? F. I can only assume their EPC certificate came out of a lucky bag. Property “inspections” used to involve someone walking in, glancing at two rooms, and then leaving. They never asked questions. They never looked properly. They clearly did not care. I stopped reporting issues during visits because it was obvious it made no difference whatsoever. I actually feel sorry for the landlord. There were issues when we moved in, yes, but due to this company’s complete negligence, the property is now in a desperate and shocking state of disrepair. If I were the landlord and saw what had been allowed to happen, I would hit the roof. To make matters worse, the property is now being sold, and it’s painfully clear that the sales team and lettings team do not communicate at all. It’s chaos, disorganised, and unprofessional. This company is utterly useless, incompetent, and frankly feels like a liability to both tenants and landlords. I cannot imagine the amount of damage they must be causing to landlords’ investments through sheer neglect and mismanagement. Avoid at all costs.

Awful, unprofessional & uncaring service

Awful, unprofessional service with incompetent staff. Key details were repeatedly mishandled, leading to delays and financial loss on our part. The agent refused to take any responsibility and refused to release us from their contract, effectively trapping us in an agreement while they were at fault. A professional, well-respected agent should act in the best interest of their client, but in this case, the opposite happened. We felt ignored, misled and financially impacted by their lack of care, knowledge and accountability. I would strongly advise others to think twice about using the Property Centre in Gloucester. There are much better services available.

Having used The Property Centre in Quedgeley several times over the last 13 years, both for house sales and purchases, I can highly recommend them. James Elson and his team provide excellent friendly, customer service. James is extremely knowledgeable with regards the local properties and very experienced in selling. We had regular viewings and feedback after each one. Our recent sale was completed quicker than we expected, with the help of Hannah Taylor, sales progression team leader, who was very efficient in chasing the chain’s estate agents and solicitor’s, and updating us with progress reports.

TPC managed the transition seamlessly, and Julie handled all of the outstanding maintenance on the properties swiftly. I feel supported now as a landlord and feel I get value for money from TPC. My husband and I are first time buyers and have never been through the buying process before. The Property Centre were very understanding and friendly. They guided us through the process and helped with all of our queries. We specifically dealt with Victoria Adams from the Quedgeley office for our viewing and she was lovely and relaxed. She didnt pressure us or follow us around and answered all of our questions. Then from having our offer accepted we dealt with Hannah Taylor who has just been absolutely amazing.
