GoogleI have recently had the opportunity to be signed up with Streets Ahead in hope of finding a new property to rent. They are great with updating there customers with property alerts. Jordan was ever so kind to assist me on viewings, but I found elsewhere as I wanted to be closer to Peckham. Thanks Jamie too for helping me in regards to the property's up for sales as I was indecisive with what to do. Many thanks.

FacebookLooking for a place to rent during the pandemic, and having to deal with a few agents, Streets Ahead was, well... Ahead. Stood out head and shoulders over the other letting agents I was dealing with, providing a top service, was reassuring and informative throughout. They found the perfect place for me, and I’m very happy! Special mention to Charlie South Norwood branch, Total Professional. Knows what he is doing. Highly recommended for your letting needs..

GoogleThe person who called me because I put an enquiry for a house, failed to 1- explain the full house details. 2- nonprofessionalism through overriding and never given a chance to share my questions/opinions about the enquired house. 3- hung up straight onto face when I shared my unavailability to view room.I felt the lady over the phone was rude and unhelpful as she presented herself to be not interested in me showing other properties- this was without even asking me. This post is to highlight the workers at Street Agents who treat the callers poorly. This was my second experience and same poor experience.

GoogleWe used Streets Ahead Estate Agents to sell our house (completed in Feb 2024). I would strongly recommend them. The team were fabulous. They were honest and positive about selling our house in what was frankly a terrible market. When we found our vendor, Aidan took over as sales-coordinator. He was utterly fantastic. he managed the process incredibly well. he gave us really helpful advice on what we could do to manage and support the process, so that it worked for us, our buyer and. Were we still in the area and interested in buying or selling, I would use them without hesitation.

FacebookI left a review: By far the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. The degree of unprofessionalism they display is horrific and I regret ever renting with them. My partner and I have been renting from the 1st of December and have had nothing but trouble from them. It's remarkable how, before I signed the lease, I was pestered with calls and repeated emails urging me to rent a property with Streets Ahead. As soon as we signed and handed over our deposit, we heard nothing more from them. We were constantly passed from person to person when we tried to enquire further with regards to our moving in. When we eventually received the keys to the property we discovered that the house was in an utterly disgusting state. It was evident that NOTHING had been cleaned. The toilet seat was completely broken, ELEVEN lightbulbs needed to be replaced. There were clumps of hair on the floor, congealed food glued to the fridge and unwanted junk (including a pair of dirty socks, thanks) that the previous tenants left. We immediately wrote a detailed letter outlining everything that was broken/required repair and requested that the house be cleaned to habitable standards as we were due to move in that weekend. We heard... nothing. The next day we tried to call the office three times. Each time we were told that our property manager - Kelly Alleyne - was on another call, but would return our call as soon as she was free. And we heard... nothing! We then went to the office the following day (in the middle of trying to move) to speak to the manager, Kunal Patel. He certainly made all the appropriate noises, claimed Kelly was off sick the day before (?!?!?!?!?) but she would respond to us the next week. No apology was made for the state of the property, no remuneration offered. I did indeed receive a message from Kelly as promised (I have come to learn, this is a miracle) assuring me she would call later. SPOILER ALERT. She did not call. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. We have been emailing and calling for TWO MONTHS trying to sort out the most basic of amenities. It took six weeks to receive an inventory checklist which was promised to us the day we moved in. We eventually received compensation for the mess we found the property in, but all the repair work they promised would take place as not occurred. We currently have no lights in the bathroom or lounge and barely any light in the kitchen because we are waiting for repair work to be taken out by Streets Ahead. However, as Kelly as ignored the last six emails we have sent, I doubt this will happen. AVOID STREETS AHEAD AT ALL COSTS ** Helpful Hint ** If you are a current tenant renting through Streets Ahead, and have trouble with them, contact the landlord directly and make them aware of the situation. They're an appalling company who don't deserve any business.

FacebookCallum is our property manager from the Addiscombe branch, since we moved to the house last year he has been very helpful if there’s any problem with the house ( a lot of problems) He’s been liaising between us and the landlord very well (given the landlord’s location). He’s also arranged a temporary property manager while he’s on leave. All I can say is how professional and I won’t hesitate him to manage your property.

He is always friendly and explains evrything in a straight forward way while understanding the needs of both the tenant and landlord. GoogleHappy with the service had quite a few viewings, but unfortunately they didn't sell my house so I have taken it off the market for now, but over the last 15 years I have sold a few houses through various Streets Ahead branches and I have always been happy with their service, and when I decide to put my house back for sale, I would most likely choose Streets Ahead again

Still waiting on the remainder of my deposit after over three months although I have been charged for a standard clean for the next tenant! Pitty it was not cleaned for when I moved in, the fridge freezer didn’t even have any doors! Anyway nobody seems to give a monkeys so will just have to keep waiting! Good luck if you get Cherelle as your property manager, hope u have a lot of hair to pull out!
