GoogleMelanie and Trudie at Red Hot made our experience of selling a flat an excellent one. As a longtime landlord, I can say that they were exceptional. Melanie worked hard from the beginning, creating photographs and a video that I was very happy with. Trudie updated every week and was both experienced and calm in constantly moving the sale forward. Every request, in what is inevitably a stressful process, was met by both. 100% recommendation and genuine thanks.

GoogleAfter getting valuations from a couple of local agents I decided to use Red Hot as Melanie took her time to explain certain things the other agent didn’t even mention. The whole process of selling a home, no matter what the circumstances, is stressful but the team were sensitive and thoughtful in their approach. Most of the communication was by email, which suited me and my working days. We had to find rental accommodation to dovetail with the sale and Trudie went above and beyond to assure this happened. Which is quite a feat in today’s market. I was very happy with the service offered and would definitely use Red Hot again, and recommend them to anyone buying, selling or renting.

GoogleI am a private landlord and recently instructed the Prudhoe office of the Red Hot Group to find a tenant for a letting property. From the outset I was impressed with the helpful and friendly attitude of all in the office. My questions were answered and telephone queries quickly addressed by an obviously professional team. Melanie Connolly has been outstanding throughout with her knowledge and advice. She is enthusiastic, approachable and committed to finding the right tenant. I won’t list all of the work she has carried out, suffice to say, the property has now been let. I have no hesitation in recommending the Red Hot Group, the quality of service is exceptional.

Trudie updated us weekly to what was happening with our purchase, helped chase solicitors and was overall just an absolute superstar!

I had heard that moving house was stressful however Trudie was so efficient, helpful and friendly, that I thoroughly enjoyed the process of buying. GoogleCannot praise enough. Trudie was fantastic during my recent buy to let purchase and constantly chased up my solicitor to try and move things on as much as possible and gave me constant updates before my solicitor. There's a lot of hype around at the minute about using alternative / free estate agent type services but this is exactly what an estate agent should be!! Thanks again Trudie

GoogleCouldn’t fault staff at red hot property , all lovely , Trudie dealt with the sale of my mums house , it had to be sold to pay her care home fees so it was a very upsetting time , the house took a long time to sell as the property had never been registered so only a cash buyer could purchase , Trudie gave us lots of important details to consider , she was understanding , professional, patient,knows her job and does it fantastically in fact she gave us better advice than the solicitor we had at the start , ( which led us to change solicitors to a one she recommended , who were also wonderful .)highly recommend them

No DSS policies are unlawful discrimination A 'no DSS' policy is when an agent refuses to rent to anyone who gets universal credit or housing benefit. This could include when agents: refuse to let you view an affordable property won't consider you for a tenancy because you get benefits advertise properties as 'no DSS' or 'working professionals only' The courts have ruled that no DSS policies are unlawful because they indirectly discriminate against women and disabled people. But you can complain to an agent or the Property Ombudsman about no DSS policies, regardless of your sex or disability. FYI

As you were told, it is a specific condition of the Landlords mortgage company that he is not allowed to accept LHA tenants It is NOT a policy of the company that we discriminate against LHA tenants Just to let you know, we are part of the Castledene Group, which is the largest independent letting agent managing LHA tenants in the North East of England - We do NOT discriminate against LHA tenants I will copy and paste this response to your wife who has also made the same complaint
