Mo the manager at North End branch came to view the property we were selling.we couldn’t have asked for anyone better, he was very informative and positive in his approach.His customer service was first class and he gave us the impression he was going all out to get the property sold.We also had quite a few dealings with Julie who kept us informed along the way, if we phoned with a query she e -mailed the solicitor and once she received an answer she would ring and let us know.Everything was sorted very quickly.we would like to thank all the team who work there too.Thankyou you for making what could be a very stressful time plain sailing.I would definitely recommend you to anyone.

Rental experience with Kamile (Crawley)

Today I moved into my flat after a long period of time looking for the right one. Kamile has been unbelievably kind, caring and diligent! She made every step of the way easy and tailored for our needs. Even with some hiccups along the way they made sure everything could go ahead as planned. I have never had such a lovely experience when looking for flats and if you are to ever have the pleasure of being looked after by Kamile or Ciaran you will have an amazing experience! Very Disappointed all round

Don't often write reviews however as my decision to use this estate agents was based on so many good reviews, I felt I needed to share my experience.After having 5 valuations of my apartment, I decided to use the Southsea branch as I was very impressed with their manager Samara. She was very prepared and seemed very knowledgeable and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. They were the most expensive but she justified that with all the extra things she offered to sell my property such as building initial excitement with a pre-launch, with their list of 200+ looking for a similar property working with homeserve for over 60s.Once the contract was signed, communication just disappeared and there was no pre-launch. Just the day before my property went live, only a handful of people had been contacted so there was no such pre-launch. the launch for a weekend went wrong and my property only went on one of the main sites and not the others like it should. They didn't even notice. I had to advise them on the Monday that my property was missing. One of the biggest failures was on the advert was no floor plan and I wasn't generally happy with the advert at all. It was very basic and not making the most of the property at all. Despite multiple calls I couldn't get hold of the manager and she never bothered to call me back and she was the only one that could make any changes apparently. I was then told that a floor plan hadn't been done as my own photos were used but this was never explained. Weeks went by and after going into the shop directly I finally managed to get agreement to some changes made and I was told a floor plan was being done, however all the changes still didn't get put through. I basically re-wrote the ad myself and the floor plan was only put on as a picture so it still didn't show there was a floor plan and there was a sizing error on it that again I pointed out. I didn't get any interest at all or a single viewing on my property, a very smart and tidy property, and there was no communication or feedback around what was happening and what they were doing to sell and even though I tried to express my disappointment they just didn't seem to care and then just blamed it on the price. I don't dispute the market is challenging but I strongly feel the advert let it down and the lack of a floor plan was a big failure, I've also noticed that links that I see on Facebook don't work so when you click on a property that they are advertising it just takes you to a blank white page.Selling a property is stressful enough but it should be a collaborative approach with your agent and I found the total lack of communication and feeling that they were not interested a real let down.

We were introduced to Cubitt & West by a friend following several unsuccessful searches with other agents. We called up Cubitt & West once, discussed with them our needs and they provided just one property for our viewing which was very lovely and exceeded our expectation.What excited us and stood out with Cubitt & West when compared with other Agents was that they were very professional, they listened carefully to us and provided creative options to the constraints we had, they were very patient with us and we saw their willingness and readiness to work with us.We dealt with Becky first and our experience with her was so wonderful and exceptional. Subsequently with Abbie when Becky was on leave, and Abbie was also exceptional in dealing with us and lastly Dan on the day we went to pick our keys. Dan was so wonderful too, we got to their office 30mins ahead of our appointment time and we were ready to wait but Dan ushered us in and when we introduced ourselves, he took us to an already prepared table were our documents had been properly laid out, we were so shocked at the level of professionalism because each time we went to their office, we met different set of people and we were not delayed one bit. The level of handover from Becky to Abbie and subsequently Dan was so seamless.We then concluded that this is not just an individual skill but rather an Organisational culture of excellence. When searching for a house to buy, C&W in Portsmouth were always the most efficient, straightforward, polite and supportive, allowing us plenty of time (much more than other agencies) to view properties without hurrying us, and even though we didn't ultimately buy from them, this good impression convinced us to return to them to let a property. From the start, Marcus and his lettings team have been extremely efficient, informative, have given us excellent advice at every step, also offering very competitive prices eg for their recommended insurances, EICR and gas safety certificates and even a professional pre tenancy cleaner. We had to find a rental for a short term very quickly with the added potential complexity of it being furnished. I contacted so many estate agents with little reply. We had a prompt, professional and efficient service from cubit and West in North end. Abbie was our contact and she was so kind and did everything she could for us. We were unable due to isolation to physically see the property so we had a video call arranged which meant that we still not miss out on the property. Maddison is such a lovely person and excellent at her job - she not only listened carefully to our needs and gave us some brilliant advice, but she also embraced our home life wonderfully when she visited us; she was so very lovely to our very chatty and confident little boy, and was so attentive to him whilst juggling her professional role whilst with us and we are so grateful. Although we haven’t gone ahead to sell & buy right now, if the time does come I will be making Maddison my first port of call.
