Absolutely shocking! Very incompetent and unhelpful, things take ages to get addressed, do not reply to emails and avoid calls. Poorest customer service I have ever experienced, Agents laugh at their incompetence using the excuse that they never had to deal with a case of a tenant change (!). They unnecessarily mess with utilities, try to charge fees out of place and can’t process change of personal details for months and months until it is directly addressed with the Countrywide. Avoid if you can! SHOCKING

Avoid at all costs if you are a potential tenant. The people who work at this branch themselves are fine. The issue is countrywide who deal with the deposit and maintenance. It took me 6 weeks to be told they weren’t making any deductions for the state of the (small 1 bedroom) flat I moved out of, I’d hate to imagine how long it would take them if something actually needed to be deducted (I was charged 3 days extra rent and a missed fire test which I was not made aware of). It then took them a further 3 weeks to put the money in my account (which they still haven’t actually told me, I’ve just seen the bank transfer). It was a nightmare trying to claim it back because they moved the company holding my deposit (the one I was told in my moving in book said they never received any money from my address, so probably something sketchy going on there as well). Worst customer care I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Save yourself the hassle (and money) and use a different company

I’ve recently been helping a relative look in the portishead area and dealt with kristina at the branch. I can’t compliment her enough for how much knowledge she had of the area and how professional she was in helping my aunt view properties in the area. Being new to the town we had no idea of what portishead had to offer and she went out of her way to give my aunt more information than any other agent I’ve dealt with to date. If your looking to rent a property I highly recommend woods and asking for kristina,she was fantastic!

I had to rent out my mother's apartment when she went into a care home. As I had no experience of renting out property, I felt overwhelmed by the task. All the staff at Woods have been extremely helpful and sympathetic to the situation, and I feel that they have explained the process very well. They found an excellent first tenant very quickly and I am now about to have the second tenants with only a one day gap! Very friendly and efficient and always return phone calls quickly.
