GoogleTerrible experience with purple Lettings- allowed our property to be vandalised by another tenant with no repercussions. Terrible communications was always chasing and they demanded random charges mid way through tenancy- would avoid at all costs

GoogleI was doing canopy's references and there was an issue with one of these. I called the purple lettings office and the lady who answered did everything need to help me find a solution with politeness and patience and didn't hesitate to spend as much time needed helping someone who not even know him. GoogleThe estate agents were good but the property was not, since the day I moved in I had issues with mice, kept on reporting it but for two years still had to deal with it and it was never properly dealt with. I would be wary renting a property at Pearson avenue.

GoogleI do not recommend purple lettings especially for someone like me with a different originality. I had sent in my application even before the viewing and was very ready to pay, I expressed how much I loved the apartment too. They asked too many questions about originality which I do not believe is necessary. few minutes after my viewing, I called the agency requesting for the payment details and they said other people are applying so they were not sure. After sending an email few hours later as I was very desperate to get it, said it was already gone. That wasn’t so nice as it kept happening not just once, got obvious they wouldn’t give it to me for any tangible reason and all I felt was discrimination. Never searching accommodation with them anymore!!
Hi Esther, I'm sorry to hear that you feel like you have not had the best experience. Please note we are the managing agents for the properties we advertise. The landlord got sent many application forms for this property and they decided who they would like to go ahead with. The only information they would have been provided with is what you had put on your application form. As I’m sure you know properties like these go very quickly due to the demand and it was unfortunate for you that the landlord went ahead with another applicant for the property. GoogleI wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for an accommodation and you are of a minority background . My housemate and I were made to feel very uncomfortable and were treated in a cold manner ,when visiting the office . At first I disregarded this treatment and scheduled a viewing with a letting agent ,which was subsequently cancelled less than 10 minutes later . After speaking to other people of a similar background , I’m disappointed to see that my experience was not a one off .

I can confirm the viewing was cancelled the day before the viewing was due to go ahead, which is where we tried to call and inform you this was due to the property being Let. We had cancelled all viewings in for that day as the property had been let prior to this viewing slot. As you may know properties are going so quickly at the moment due to high demand. GoogleMyself and my partner were looking for a property to rent for us and our unborn child. For a long time we really struggled and it started to seem as if we weren’t going to find a place in time to welcome our baby girl, constantly let down by other letting agents and in some cases even ignored. Until I arranged a viewing at a property with Amy from Purple Lettings. She was very welcoming and super easy to talk to. She explained everything about the property, landlord and what the steps consisted of if I put forward my interest.She could see how keen I was on the property and was very sympathetic towards how difficult our search for a home had been. I felt at ease discussing my situation with Amy as myself and my boyfriend are self employed, which can make things more difficult however she gave me very valuable, professional advice regarding providing the correct paperwork needed for the referencing. Thoughout the application process Amy super helpful and not at all pushy to rush us through everything. She was very responsive, always getting back to me very quickly. I would highly recommend Purple Lettings as without them we would not be moving into our perfect family home in time for our baby girl to arrive. Especially helpful if you find the whole process of applying for tenancies daunting and invasive.

FacebookI went to Sergio and the team at Purple Letting about 5 years ago, my property was in a bit of distress and as a landlord residing overseas I needed a bit of support. Sergio was pro-active in dealing with the issues, he found new tenants and upgraded the property as he went. I don't have to chase him, I'm completely hands off. Purple letting take on more responsibilities and offer more support than are expected which is why I fully recommend making Purple Letting your investment partner.
