GoogleExcllent organisation, viewing was arranged quickly which was ace considering I gave little notice. All steps of the process have been swift, professional and hassle free - The viewing with Faye was awesome, informative but friendly and comfortable , it was pleasant to be dealing with somebody closer to my age group :)

GooglePre move in: 1) "stop calling so much it'll take me a few days to send an email" all we asked was to explain the maths and when just got sent a number to pay. (Literally no info just "Total = £x") 2) changed the time of key collection and we asked for this in writing that the time has been changed. Their manager's response was " why do you need it in writing". Never had an estate agent refuse to give a change in writing and said it would take a few days to send ( they changed the time 20 hours before the collection date so not even 24 hours notice) unprofessional and unorganized. 3) it seems the only person in the entire office who is allowed to do anything is Daniela this was confirmed with a call on 11/07/2023 at 4PM where I asked is Daniela the only one allowed to do anything, Lisa confirmed this is the case which is appalling considering she is always out on viewings 4) looked at reviews for the company, for a team that has no time to help or communicate, a lot of time is spent on Google reviews calling reviews fake and arguing rather than helping actual people who are asking for it After moving in: 5) firstly inventory was promised upon arrival and was not given until 2 days after move in, and then information was missed (17/07/23) 6) Kept asking for rent even though it was paid before the move in 1 day after the inventory was sent (18/07/23) 7) After being told while sorting the house out that emails take 3-4 days to send, we were sent an email asking to leave a good Google review for a person we spoke to once, so they have spent 4 days to send us an email to leave a review instead of helping other tenants 8) the front door was very broken and was reported 8/9 times by previous tenants and at least 4 times by me, and still nothing done, absolutely useless before and during the tenancy 9) something happened that made me feel unsafe at the property ( will not go into detail ) and they refused to end the contract early due to it being legally binding also after breaking their duty of care which is also legally binding, they told me not to contact people for help and I did anyways and within 1 day we got a response (re-look at number 8 emails take days to write), i got a call saying I am released from the contract and will receive a weeks rent back ( i left at the start so it should be 3 weeks rent ), so after hearing legal action will be taken they got fear struck and did not want to deal with it, nice to know that they would rather get money from vulnerable tenants they have caused issues with than help them be safe.
Dear Eryn, Thank you for your feedback. Whilst I disagree with some of your points, we value all feedback, good and bad. I am surprised by some of the contents in this review and do not believe them to be factual. Especially after the tenancy was surrendered early, due to your situation and request. As you must appreciate, there are processes in place that we must follow and although you would like things done instantly, this cannot always be the case. I feel you have mis-interpreted what we mean about the time in coming back to you. This is to set expectations and understand, we are dealing with the matter, but not everything can be dealt with on the same day. Let's be realistic. Some of the subjects are sensitive and also, some of them involved major repairs or refunds of allocated funds, again, something that cannot happen overnight. I will not respond to each of your points on here, but the main ones... You were never told not to contact us, we are a customer based business and each day, we deal with hundreds of inbound calls and enquiries. We are only human and can only attend to so many enquiries (in detail) at any one time. Every enquiry is taken seriously and the neccessary precautions taken to resolve. This was again the case with your tenancy. In regards to the maintenance issue (door) after several visits/opinions on this, the result was that it required a new front door. Again, the process of manufacturing, ordering and fitting a new door does not happen overnight and was replaced at the earliest opportunity. Despite how many times you report the issue, we are at the mercy of the manufacturers and contractors who can replace the door, in order to get this changed. I would also point out, that your tenancy lasted only 2-months' at this property with only 1 report ever being logged on our maintenance portal (FIX FLO) in August 2023. Again, you reported an incident within the property and this was attended to/discussed with the Landlord by our Property Management team. Your tenancy was agreed to be surrendered early and the Landlord agreed to release the full deposit back to you, along with the overpaid rent. All of which has now been processed. As I say, you are entitled to your own opinion and we're sorry to hear you felt this way, but I do not believe all of these points are factually correct. The tenancy has been terminated and all amounts due, successfully returned to you. TrustpilotCentury 21 Bedford is a scam
Century 21 in Bedford is ran by a scam lord not a landlord, they steal deposits, refuse to provide heating. They will happily illegally let flats with damp, mould and fungus growing in the floors. They refuse to repair anything properly and don't use qualified people to do the repairs.

I have since spoken to the branch who mentioned you left the apartment a number of months ago due to needing a bigger apartment but they mentioned that the issues you experienced were repaired for you during the tenancy. GoogleDon't waste time with them. In 5 months, they never been helpfull just tried to find someone else to blame. They Found a buyer for my property and told me that he have all paperwork ready, but after it, basically everyone from century 21 dissapeared and not even tried to do anything. it took 2 months to my solicitor to get first bit of paperwork from buyer solicitor. Manager promised a weekly updates, but in 5 months i received 1 or 2 updates. When tried to ask for update myself, they ignored most of my emails or never called me back. Edit: they messed up everything again. received a email from branch manager that as sign of goodwill I don't need to pay for outstanding EPC invoice. But I never used Century21 to get EPC certificate.
