I’ve had previous experience with Brookdale so when I needed to move home, they were my first port of call. Unfortunately I have financial issues and most agencies won’t even consider me. Brookdale have always treated me just as any other tenant. They’re very thorough with their checks and their communication is second to none, most of my earlier dealing were with the very professional Conor. I’ve never felt judged, in fact, although they are obviously a business, I do feel as though they truly care for their tenants. Great Service from Brookdale Property Management Brookdale has been our letting agent since 2023, and they’ve been fantastic. When we had to move due to our landlord selling the house, it was a tough time for us financially and mentally. I rent a flat from Brookdale Property Management and have had excellent Customer service for many years. I was on holiday in Greece last week and received an e-mail from Julie at Brookdale saying that the flat above (also owned by Brookdale) had suffered a leak in the bathroom and she was concerned that the water had leaked into my flat whilst I was away. Within ONE day Julie had organised for a member of the Brookdale staff to go and check it for me (as I was abroad). She then confirmed that the leak had indeed stained my bathroom ceiling and has organised it to be re-decorated after it has dried out. This is typical Brookdale Property Management. Proactive, reactive and on the ball at all times. I have been a Tenant with Brookdale since 2006 and cannot fault but only praise them. I read a lot of reports about Tenants reporting problems to their letting agent and nothing being done. Brookdale Property Management in this case actually did it the other way round - THEY reported a potential problem to me! They then investigated it and have organised to resolve it. I have no doubt that their service level to Landlords is as excellent as it is to their Tenants so have no hesitation in recommending Brookdale.

Brookdale Property Management is a letting/estate agent based in Peterborough and should never be used or shouldn't be allowed to trade. Not only has my experienced with Brookdale left me feeling very unease but while researching to report Brookdale for their poor customer service but also knowing they falsify documents. I discovered that they are not registered with 'The Property Ombudsman.' Which is an government organisation that all estate agents should be registered with. In the past I have contacted Brookdale to arrange viewings with there properties, this has never been a problem and myself and my partner have been happy with the way they have conducted themselves until this week when we contacted them regarding a property based in the Peterborough Area. When speak to a gentleman on the other end of the phone and I was giving my details he informed me that he already had my details on file as an application had been filed under my name in January 2011. I said I have viewed many properties with you but never filed an application with you. The gentleman on the other end of the phone then became very aggressive and stood firm about this application that was made in my name. After a minute of rebutaling on the telephone the line went dead and when I tried to call back for an explanation of why this document shouldn't exist actually did, there was no answer. The following day I proceed to the office of Brookdale, I was met with a tall, slim gentleman, I explained my case and the previous day events. He then disappeared and a larger, almost security looking gentleman appeared. He was extremely rude who said 'they will look into this matter but management does not want any dealing with myself now or in the future.' He would not explain his actions or show me this mysterious document. He then asked me to leave. I was left stunned by these turn of event. My only conclusion is that Brookdale are producing and falsifying documents on potential tenants and gaining financial information. This is extremely unnerving as I am unclear to what other information they have and using for their unprofessional and unethical advantage. It also seem that from my visit at the office on how they behave and conducted themselves they are trying to cover there tracks. DO NOT USE THIS LETTING AGENCY!

We are very pleased with the service Brookdales offers. Our Peterborough flat is assigned to them and originally we let it ourselves before allowing a letting agency to take it over. I was especially wary because of the horror stories I'd heard from other landlords. But I have to say, our confidence with Brookdales is high. The set up fees are good and there are not additional silly rip off charges for everything under the sun. I like the fact that someone gets back to you quickly too. Staff are helpful and pleasant and give advice where need be. Because we live in Norfolk and the property is in Peterborough, Cambs, having an agent is very helpful, eases our minds, and we know the flat is in proven safe hands.. As mentioned, I was a little wary to begin with (I am with everyone)but it's now been about two years and I can see that Brookdales are professional, experienced, helpful, knowledgeable ... and I would like to say a huge thanks for your help when I needed some assistance with contractors!! My flat was my first home and it's still my pride and joy. As the months passed, Brookdales have definitely proven to me that it is in safe hands.

I have had my 1 bedroom flat rented out with Brookdale for 17 years! Wow how the time flies. I was initially recommended to use them by a close friend and also my sister and the recommendations were spot on. Richard and Mike have always been on hand to deal with everything and as their business has grown ( and why wouldn’t it as they are so professional) their staff are now always available for any query or question. As a landlord you want certain things from a letting agency, no stress or hassle, your property rented out continuously, good tenants and payments made on time. I can honestly say that Brookdale deliver on all counts all the time. I do not live in Peterborough and know that I can rely on Brookdale to look after all aspects of what the letting procedure entails. They keep me informed on what is happening and they have reasonable charges as well. I am considering purchasing another rental property and I have already spoken to Brookdaye about what sort of property and area would be best to invest in. Why not...... they are the experts after all. Thanks Bookdale for taking the stress out of letting my property and being uber efficient and friendly.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Brookdale Property Management LTD. I organised a viewing through a friend, but it was clear that Brookdale did not care about my inquiry. Firstly, the communication was lacking. The person I spoke with via email did not provide a signature or contact information. When I called this morning to inquire about the viewing, I was met with the most unprofessional and rude member of staff I have ever encountered over the phone. I was unsure about the details of the property as my friend had arranged the viewing with a "man". When I asked the lady on the phone for more information, she was dismissive and unhelpful. She even laughed at me when I expressed my concerns about her tone and attitude. When I requested to speak with the gentleman I had previously communicated with, she laughed again and hung up on me. Despite trying to call back immediately, my calls went unanswered. It was only when I called from a private number that I was able to speak with the gentleman, who claimed I was hung up on for swearing at the lady, which was untrue. It's fairly obvious that if i'd asked to speak to a senior, there was an issue with her behaviour otherwise she'd have hung up prior to my request. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that out. I offered to provide a call recording to prove my innocence, but they declined. It was clear that Brookdale had no interest in investigating the misconduct of their staff and acted in an unprofessional manner. This level of rudeness and unacceptable behaviour is not something I would expect from a reputable agency. The "gentleman" clearly has other "investments" on the female member of staff to take the tone with me that he did. I will be writing to the director to address this issue. If my staff ever acted in such a way, they would be promptly dismissed. Overall, my experience with Brookdale Property Management LTD was disappointing and I would not recommend their services to others.
