GoogleWould not use again or recommend to anyone. Previous reviews have mentioned great service on sales but on the lettings side of the business I found Rhiannon to be rude, argumentative, opiniated and under informed. I was refunded a 'non refundable' deposit after Rhiannon conceded a property advert was altered after my registration with them.

We are surprised and disappointed with your review. We feel it is disingenuous and we’re very happy to provide a response. Unfortunately, you failed our referencing procedure for a property because you did not disclose that you had two cats, despite multiple opportunities to do so. At no point during your registration, the property viewing, or our continuing correspondence, did you make any mention of pets. In this instance, there were four parties who wanted to rent this property and the landlord decided to continue with you. At this stage you again failed to inform us about your pets. When you eventually disclosed this information, after the referencing process had started, you were informed that the landlord would not accept pets. This left both us and the landlord very frustrated that this hadn’t been previously communicated. The ‘non-refundable’ deposit you mention was actually a holding deposit. We did not refund you the whole amount. An amount was retained for the cost of the referencing that had taken place. However, taking into consideration that we were still early into the referencing stage and as a gesture of good will, we refunded the remainder. As a final point, we would like to clarify that at no stage did we concede that anything was altered. We hope this adds further closure to a matter that we believed had already been dealt with. We wish you all the best for the future and we hope you find the best property for you and your pets going forward.

GoogleWe chose to use Hogg & Hogg over a few other larger agents to sell our house even though they were located further away. It was Helens warm personality and evident expertise that helped us chose them over the more rigid salespersons with other agents. We were delighted with the success of the advert, the return, and all in such a short time. We would urge anybody selling a home to consider them, or at least meet them so you can understand our recommendation.

GoogleWell, what can I say…who lists and sells my house within 4 days?? Hogg and Hogg has for me!! I just cannot express how pleased I am with the service we have received from them. To be honest we initially had had reservations about not using one of the well-known agents on the high street, but then, after speaking with them, we thought we would give them a go; they stood out from the crowd. And we absolutely made the right choice. The other agents said it was unlikely we would sell our house this side of Christmas. And based on this information we were not expecting the house to be sold STC until. Hogg and Hogg did not take this view and were confident of the swift sale, they were absolutely right. The quality of the listing is superior; they take excellent pictures (friends and family said how great they were!!) that really show off the house, the details are well described and the floor plan helps people visualise the space they are viewing online. Unfortunately, not all agents have such high and thorough standards, I have no doubt that this attention detail meant our property sold really fast. Although the house was listed and sold STC within days, we had several viewings. After each viewing, comprehensive feedback was provided verbally and written. Hogg and Hogg provided us with a personal service. We met Helen and Rhiannon and they are both very friendly. They have been available to answer all of our questions and they are not restricted to 9-5 Monday to Friday, which is great given that I work in those hours, as do most people. I don’t know what else to say really, I would say in the future I will use you again, and recommend you to my family and friends - thank you both so much and I wish you all the very best for the future.

What i wasn't expecting mind you was for her to sell it the very next morning.........above asking price!! From initially meeting Helen at a property we viewed (and Rhiannon when with her previous company when i bought the house 4 years ago) we were kept up to date right the way through by two very professional people who clearly have a passion for their work and company. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hogg & Hogg to anyone, or to use them myself in the future if the need ever arose. Thank you both very much!!

Their standard of work, authenticity and personalised touch was so refreshing, I would not use a larger / mainstream estate agent ever again. GoogleWe were recommended Hogg & Hogg through friends and couldn’t have been more pleased with the service. We had a really lovely visit from Helen to value our property and a very quick follow up service with a formal valuation emailed through the same day. Due to being on a shared equity scheme unfortunately we weren’t able to list the house on the open market yet but when we do, I will be coming back to H&H!
