GoogleI would like to thank the team at David Britton, especially Ross for their professionalism and top quality service from beginning to end. It was quite an emotional experience selling a property you have owned for decades and not knowing it’s worth. They valued it much higher than other estate agents, not to get the work but have an experienced team who know their stuff. I pretty much got the asking price. I can highly recommend DBE and would have no hesitation to return as a seller or buyer. Also a quick mention to Donna and Travis, thank you for your support over the past months. GoogleI was purchasing a property whereby their client was selling to me. I was in the middle of a very long chain and had to break chain and rent for a month. The team at DB were amazing, particularly Helen Hodgson. She kept me up to date regularly and was always on hand to take or return my calls. She also went out of her way to find parking in Penrith for me while I was in temporary accommodation. Definitely took a lot of the stress out of the move! Highly recommend DB estates.

GoogleAn exceptional estate agent; we found everyone we spoke to; from Brendan, who valued and videoed our property; the office staff(special mention to Elizabeth), to the guy who put the "for sale" board up! to be very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful in getting us the best price for our property(full asking) and answering all our questions throughout the process. We're not planning on moving again anytime soon; but wouldn't even consider going anywhere else to sell our home.

GoogleWow what an amazing experience using David Britton to sell our farmhouse and 4 holiday cottages. From the first contract through to completion the team never left us on our own. GoogleOur house move was beset with problems from beginning to end, and had it not been for Travis Roberts (our vendor’s agent), we feel the chain would have collapsed. Travis maintained positive, professional, caring and clear communication throughout, including contacting others’ agents and solicitors when their communication was often absent, and keeping us updated throughout. We would recommend David Britton Estates to anyone selling their home, especially if you are fortunate to have Travis as your dedicated agent. We moved from Lancashire to Cumbria, and used a selling agent local to where we lived, but would use David Britton without hesitation to sell our Cumbrian home should we ever decide to move again.

GooglePoor systems, poor communication left me travelling 190 miles to view a £850,000 house and this agent didn't turn up because an incompetent trainee hadn't entered the appointment into their diary. The staff consistently blamed systems being down. All I received was a typical passive aggressive apology from the type of Gen Z who doesn't care and can do no wrong. I'd suggest contacting property owners directly to avoid this agent to avoid the wasted time.

GoogleAfter having had one property fall through with another estate agent, it was refreshing for David Brittons to take the property off the market as soon as our offer was agreed. Contrary to other reviews, we found David Brittons to be very responsive to calls and emails, and no question was too much to answer for their fantastic sales team. Special thanks to Hayden Wilson and Brendan Foley, who communicated with us around our offer being accepted. Straightforward process from start to finish (8 weeks). Thank you 😊

GoogleHad three valuations done.The first was with David Britton .The agent was very punctual. As I showed him around he did not make any notes and seemed uninterested. Maybe he thought I wasnt serious about putting house on the market which I certainly was. On conclusion of house tour he advised me of the house value. The price he quoted was between £165,000 and £180,000. Which was ridiculous as I paid £180,000 for it in 2009 and since then I have put an extension on it. I was not aware that house prices had dropped considerably in 14 years.After his visit no one called or e mailed me on feedback or other information. I can only assume he had no interest in selling my house. The other two valuations from Purple Bricks and H&H valued it at £250,000. David Britton estate agents were not even close. A serious undervaluation. The other two agents also did their homework on house and area and contacted me back two days later. Draw your own conclusions.
