Having very recently moved to Paignton, we had a significant change in family circumstance that led to us having to move again in a short space of time. This was a daunting process to go through again and we were glad to have gone to Connells Estate Agents to handle it. The whole team there were friendly and what helped a lot was that the communication was excellent. It was never a problem getting through to them on the phone and if we left a message with them, they got back to us in a timely fashion. Many thanks to Jaime, Phoebe, Hannah and the rest of their team for making this move a lot easier.

Jamie, Lynsey and the whole team at Paignton Connells were all absolutely brilliant. Really friendly, responsive and secured full asking price on our property. I also used Fiona for mortgage services and she was brilliant, managing to increase the amount I could borrow by a huge amount in comparison to other lenders and brokers I had spoken to, and was also able to keep payments low. Sitting here, enjoying the peace of our new lounge, looking out on to our lovely new garden, we can’t praise highly enough the team at Connells, Paignton. They were a pleasure to work with - friendly and professional. We’d originally marketed our property with a different agent but without success. Within a few weeks of switching to Connells we had on offer and things got underway. We were particularly impressed by the great communication from the team. Every step of the process they were with us to advise - and sometimes calm our nerves! Even in those times when nothing much seemed to happening we received weekly check-ins to make sure we’re ok with everything. We also opted to use Connells’ mortgage adviser and linked legal services and we feel this made things go more smoothly as the teams communicate easily. Would highly recommend Connells.

Our experience of dealing with Connells was dreadful. Our Landlords decided to sell and initially we were told we would not be pressured to move. Within days we were contacted by 'Jamie' who showed zero empathy or tact and was pressuring us into agreeing to viewings & photos. We politely declined stating our privacy reasons and within days Connells had obviously complained to our Landlords and we were served a section 21. We continued in this time to receive text messages trying to arrange photos....even after we moved! A Connells employee came to do a valuation on the property and suggested that maybe we would be better off being made homeless! All the staff need to be retrained in how to treat people properly rather than being driven by targets and greed. Connells have a letting department too, there's no way I would want to be a Tenant managed by them if this is an example of how they treat people.

Had a great experience with Connell's Mortgage Advisor, Fiona Stevenson. She was very helpful from start to finish. Guided us through the mortgage application process, as well as building and contents etc. Made the process very enjoyable and also ensured we got the best possible deal/outcome. Worth noting she is very proactive as well, always checking in to make sure things are moving as they should, and if they aren't, helps to get that done. Would highly recommend.

The Connells letting department, more specifically Tanita and Leigh is most proficient. Be it buying, selling, or letting a home, the process can be stressful; failing that daunting. I always have a multitude of questions or concerns, yet both Tanita and Leigh resolve my queries, and where they do not know the answer; they find the correct response and get back in touch. Their courtesy and time to talk is most reassuring, but while still maintaining a prudent level of business sense. This balance gives me great peace of mind and other businesses could learn from this duo.

Me and my partner are finally moving into our new home tomorrow after searching since February for a place as we are expecting our first baby…we came across many different flats and houses and applied for almost every single one of them, to no prevail, we had no outcome and was always getting declined, through many different estate agents, none of them have been as helpful as Connells, our agent that we worked closely with was Leigh Godfrey! This man deserves every bit of praise and recognition, even from first meeting him he was welcoming and very helpful, he would ring me almost every month to check how we were getting on, exceptional customer service, he then showed us 2 similar properties and finally we got accepted for this property, he has been amazing to say the least, fulfilling our every need and ensuring that everything was well explained, we can’t thank him enough!
