If i could give a zero star I would. Would not recommend. Took 2 years for our garden issue to be sorted. Let alone all the snags and constant issues found from the start. No support, constantly chasing up emails and no end of mental stress. Despite following complaints procedure, the directors failed to follow process.

Bought my first home in St Helens Angie an Annabel are fab any questions asked are always answered, friendly professional, recently just moved in and the site manager is also extremely helpful and all workers on site great atmosphere, would defo recommend Countryside. Emailed an enquiry using rightmove for the colleys, Grantham, no response, they obviously don't want to sell me a house. What's irritating is they obviously received the request for more information as I am now getting generic spam from them but nothing related to my enquiry.

We've been in a our new home on Dutton Fields Deeside since January and us and neighbours have had increasing problems with dogs running loose off leads through the front gardens and fouling in gardens and along the footpaths, green spaces. The council cannot help as the site hadn't been handed over to them to adopt and the management company trust management have not been instructed to commence maintenance from Countryside. Dogs have also tried to get in through open living room windows as they are low to the ground which has concerned us when our 1 year old nephew visits.Countryside have said they won't help as this is a private issue. There are no signs about cleaning up after dogs and keeping them on leads or bins installed along the footpaths shared green spaces.

Firstly, notice how almost all of the glowing reviews here are about the SALES process. Can't fault them there. Sales staff will sell their first born to earn their commission and make it as smooth as possible for you. The problems will start once they have your money. And those problems can be financially devastating and absolutely ruin your life.Our Countryside Properties block of flats has failed an EWS1 fire safety inspection in August 2020 which means we cannot sell, cannot remortgage and are facing thousands of pounds in bills to put right fire safety issues that we had no say in designing or constructing. The building is only five years old. Around 100 flats are affected. 100 families lives on hold.Countryside tell us they aren't responsible and the NHBC warranty has rejected our claim (so much for the 10 year warranty eh)- we've been left facing bills for tens of thousands of pounds to put this right.On top of that all the fire doors in the building are non compliant and unsafe - the same doors that Countryside Properties installed five years ago. We've been quoted tens of thousands to repair them. They are the main defence against fire in the building because Countryside didn't install a fire alarm because they didn't have to at the time. Imagine not installing a fire alarm in a tall block of flats just to save a few pounds. It shows you where their priorities lie.Buyer beware- despite all the shiny showrooms, reassuring words about how good new builds are and friendly salespeople you could be in my shoes, five short years after the biggest purchase of your life - abandoned and facing huge bills to fix a home that was sold as safe and backed by a so called NHBC warranty

Beware of hidden charges. Whilst our house has been great they use a company called Land trust to 'maintain the grounds' they then sub-let this to a third party gardener. In my experience they spend most of their time keeping the grass outside the show homes nice whilst the residential areas are in need of much more attention as they have been neglected over the last few years. We are charged around £50 per month for this 'service'. Furthermore when we tried to sell our house Land trust asked us to pay them almost £300 to produce the paperwork for this to be transferred to the new home buyer.

TrustpilotDo not buy from Coutryside Properties
Do not buy from Coutryside Properties. I bought one of their properties in 2014 and it is now considered unsafe due to flammable cladding issues (and currently unsaleable). Countryside have refused to take any responsibility for the issue and will not even engage leaseholders in conversation. What is even more disgusting is they continued building new homes on the same development as my property, using similar ACM cladding as used in Grenfell - even promising leaseholders at the time that it was safe and there should be no concern. They do not care that innocent leaseholders that bought their properties in good faith are now facing huge bills to fix their mistakes; they only care about a quick sale and making a tidy profit. DO NOT HAVE THE WOOL PULLED OVER YOUR EYES BY THEIR GLOSSY BROCHURES AND SNAZZY MARKETING SUITES - THIS COMPANY HAS NO MORALS. DO NOT BUY FROM COUNTRYSIDE!

TrustpilotOUR BUILDING IS A FIRE RISK
Countryside Properties built our property and do not even respond to communications regarding the failings with their build. Our building is a death trap. Inadequate fire protection and flammable materials used. It is quite disgraceful that Countryside Properties think they can build something and refuse to acknowledge any problems with it. We will continue to pursue them. We don’t want to be the next victims of poor build quality. You need to engage Countryside Properties. Don’t wait until the next tragic disaster like Grenfell.
