FacebookHonestly, I do not have the energy to go into the depths of frustration that I have with JCP. Unfortunately, I am still awaiting a deposit return over five weeks after leaving the property. I do fully appreciate the global circumstances, however, JCP have been operational and have never provided clarity on ETA's on a deposit return. This has left us in a position of difficulty in our own planning. I have had various conversations with different team members within the organisation (Jericho, Oxford branch) only to be told that there are 'third party suppliers' who are holding up. It's extremely disappointing that any bottlenecks with their own logistical supplies are having an impact our own cash position. I believe it's been three independent contractors that have been the bottleneck. I am at a loss as to whether this is the case or any internal issues. None-the-less, it's unacceptable. I still await responses and am almost powerless (aside with engaging with my solicitor) to expedite matters. I have reviewed various online reviews of tenants who have experienced similar issues over the years so can only attribute it to the level of professionalism within the company. Please consider who you use as a letting agent. I have an extremely poor view of them as an organisation. There have been additional issues that I will save all of our time on also.

GoogleI have had a very positive experience with JCP Estate Agents when looking for student accommodation in Oxford for the 2019-2020 academic year. The member of the JCP team who helped us in the house search, Winnie Taylor, was very personable and friendly, was able to give a great answer to every question we asked and was also very perceptive about the different merits the properties had to offer. GoogleUpdate after owner’s reply: I was on 19 Paradise Square property during Aug 2015 to July 2016, four people sharing the house. The issue I mentioned happened during my move out, and afterwards when I ask them why did the professional cleaning company never show up, JCP contact never answered the question. I am attaching some emails I sent to this dishonourable liar. (Screenshots of emails not showing I don’t know why) Original comment: Was charged £1500 for move-out just because the cleaner recommended by JCP never showed up and the landlord was forced to find one by himself costing that much. The agreed amount with JCP cleaner was £500. It could be a good business to persuade clients into a cheap cleaning deal and then force to a landlord's expensive bill. The same happened to my friends as well. Dishonourable liar.

We have now found your details on our database and our email records show that you and your housemates agreed to the deposit deductions (which also included the replacement items that were missing or damaged in the property) in September 2016. GoogleFrancis at JCP was extremely efficient, helpful, realistic, open and honest in the handling of the sale of my flat. It was a protracted process due to issues with the lease on my flat which became apparent and he was extremely supportive. His knowledge of the local market and ability to vet interested parties to weed out 'tyre kickers' from visiting my property was exemplary. I would strongly recommend JCP
