Cherry Picked are an absolute breath of fresh air. Jo and Ajay were fantastic, always there when we needed them but never in a pushy way. Proactive and strait forward estate agents, that gets the job done. We met Ajay during the valuation of our rental house, he was strait forward on the price range and process to follow. His advice on what dilapidation work needed to be done and what would be better to leave for the new owners, as we would not recover the costs. Despite the market dynamics, we had plenty of interest, but needed to adjust the price to compete with the nationwide house builders price pressure, as predicted by Ajay. When we accepted a good offer, Ben and Ajay were very proactive to keep the ridiculous legal process on-track, as the buy-side solicitors were aloof to say the least, they followed through including the hand-over of the keys after completion.

After being recommended cherry picked by a friend, I spoke to Vinny before deciding if I wanted to rent my house or sell it. Not only was Vinny one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, but for the first time during a selling process, I knew I could trust the company to sell my house. Vinny started off initial work and then I was introduced to Ben, who like Vinny was both super friendly, and passionate about wanting to sell my house to the right person. Communication has been something that has been a constant negative with previous purchase/sales but it couldn't be anymore different with Cherry Picked. I couldn't recommend the company anymore and will only use Cherry Picked moving forwards. Vinny and his team are head and shoulders above any competitor.

As a landlord I have worked with several agents over the years, but must say Ajay and the team really have set a new level for service, local knowledge and professionalism. They sold my property for more than I was expecting and quickly despite the challenging market, which I certainly don’t think was luck, it was sheer hard work and going above and beyond (I don’t think I ever waited more than 10 mins for a response, even late on a Sunday night). After spending about a year looking for a property to buy in Oxford and dealing with various estate agents, Vinny and Ajay from Cherry Picked Residential came like a breath of fresh air. We had a feeling they were going to be excellent just by looking at their online property search - they are technologically more advanced than any other estate agent (they have virtual tours and videos for all their properties on sale) and this stands out when you are looking at endless properties on Rightmove/Zoopla. Our estate agent was Ajay. He is an outstanding, professional and honest estate agent, who invests his full energy in your purchase. His knowledge of the Oxford housing market is excellent and has an impressive eye for quality in a house. He got exactly what we were looking for and never wasted our time by taking us to viewings he knew we wouldn’t like. I think most remarkably, unlike any other estate agent I’ve liaise with, Ajay is fantastically communicative and accessible, making every effort to fix problems that arise along the way. His transparency and connections with the conveyancers and the property chain definitely helped speed the purchase up for us towards the end. We will be getting in touch with Cherry Picked Residential when we want to sell and we will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their property in Oxford. Ajay is a star, without his help I couldn't have finish my purchase on time. Firstly, their properties are priced sensibly, the staff are really helpful and always keep on top of everything throughout the process. They appreciate how frustrating it can be when purchasing in a chain and offer advice and support throughout the process. This is the forth house I have bought in my lifetime, I haven’t received similar service before and it was unexpected! We chose Cherry Picked Residential after a very positive recommendation from a friend and we have been extremely impressed with the service offered from the start to sale completion. Throughout we have dealt with Ajay; he has been unbelievable professional, attentive and supportive. The level of customer service is better than I have ever experienced whilst selling a property. The photographs and video tour were of an exceptionally high standard and ensured those viewing the property were already familiar with the layout and design. With a young family, Ajay arranged all viewings around our schedule. He personally undertook these viewings and was therefore able to highlight the best parts of our property; this was proven after receiving two offers after only four viewings. After every viewing Ajay followed up with the couples straight away and asked for their feedback; this was really reassuring to us as sellers and isn’t something we have experienced with any other local agents when we have viewed properties. The completion of the sale wasn’t that smooth due to issues with our onward purchase, but Ajay always ensured our buyers understood what was happening and we believe his reassurance at pivotal points kept the chain together. Ajay even went as far as meeting our buyers for coffee to answer any queries and allay any concerns they had. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Cherry Picked Residential to all our friends in the area. If we were to move again, I wouldn’t consider any other agency and would just pick up the phone to Ajay. We were given a first class service which included being able to contact Vinny almost 24/7 and if not available at that time he was always very prompt and polite in replying, whatever the question may have been. He took control of all matters and made what could be a stressful experience very easy instead. He dealt with all matters of the sale very quickly and professionally, including following up various matters with the buyers solicitor as soon as they arose. We used Cherry Picked Residential to sell our house in Botley as the sole agent after a personal recommendation. We cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by Ajay. He gave a sensible valuation and then worked hard to get to know both us and potential buyers. Within two weeks we had ten viewings and three offers and achieved the guide price. Throughout the whole process, Ajay handled everything in person, which was a huge bonus of choosing Cherry Picked. He is a lovely, friendly and fair person, who was fantastic to work with. During our own house hunt, it was clear that Ajay and Vinnie are both well-liked and respected by other agents in Oxford, all of whom had only positive things to say about them. We were also really pleased with the photos and video tour (from Chaz Snell, at The Plastic Goldfish Co.), which were great quality. When we decided to sell our house we chose Cherry Picked Residential. I have dealt with Vinny from Cherry Picked Residential in the past and felt they would be a good choice of agent to sell for us this time as we knew we would be dealing with the directors at all times. I have felt looked after all the way through the process. The valuation of the property proved to be similar to some of the local long established agencies that we obviously checked prior to going to market. Because I am a landlord and am changing my portfolio, we had used another agent to sell two properties earlier this year and one last year. Although the other properties did sell, the service I received from Cherry Picked Residential was more personalised and understanding of my needs than I had received from the others. There were several prospective purchasers introduced and qualified in order to avoid wasting both the buyers and our time. We have now reached sale agreed with exactly the right type of buyer and the price achieved was very close to the valuation we received. I would thoroughly recommend Cherry Picked Residential and will certainly be in touch with them again in the future. They clearly valued us as a client and did their best to get us what we wanted.
