Right from the very first call and meeting at the property, Vinny was open, honest, professional, and friendly but perhaps most importantly, he was sympathetic to the sensitive reason for the sale following a family bereavement. As we needed to do the best for the estate, we spoke with and obtained offers from other estate agents. Vinny, however, inspired the most confidence and ultimately achieved the best result, obtaining £95,000 over the asking price. Throughout the process, I mainly dealt with Vinny, but whenever I spoke with other members of the Cherry Picked team, they were just as outstanding. Vinny and the team kept us informed at every stage, worked seamlessly with us, and supported communication with our conveyancing team, ensuring the sale completed on time. I can wholeheartedly recommend Cherry Picked. I truly don’t believe we would have achieved such an exceptional offer or such a smooth completion without Vinny’s dedication. When he called to confirm completion, I only wished we were face to face so I could give him the biggest hug! From first contact to the final call and email, Vinny and the Cherry Picked team were nothing short of fantastic. Vinny went above and beyond, did much more than he is expected to as an estate agent, to ensure that our purchase went as smooth as possible. Amidst the rush to Stamp Duty due date, he stayed reachable, calm and tried almost as hard as ourselves to make the purchase happen on time despite some other parties being involved not being very helpful. We had a real rollercoaster with house purchase, and while we thought we were being really cared for by Oliver and the team at Cherry Picked, but the reality is we were taken for a ride by them. As first time buyers we had to really trust and work alongside them because the buyer was ultimately a total crook. A lot of the items we were told were in working order or mere patch up jobs turned out to be thousands of pounds of work.turns out the seller fled the country because they are in debt and HMRC are chasing them along with all their lenders. If cherry picked can’t do the basic background check on their clients financial positions, how can you trust them ? They’ll work for anyone for the business, and screw you over in the process

Proactive and strait forward estate agents, that gets the job done. We met Ajay during the valuation of our rental house, he was strait forward on the price range and process to follow. His advice on what dilapidation work needed to be done and what would be better to leave for the new owners, as we would not recover the costs. Despite the market dynamics, we had plenty of interest, but needed to adjust the price to compete with the nationwide house builders price pressure, as predicted by Ajay. When we accepted a good offer, Ben and Ajay were very proactive to keep the ridiculous legal process on-track, as the buy-side solicitors were aloof to say the least, they followed through including the hand-over of the keys after completion.

After being recommended cherry picked by a friend, I spoke to Vinny before deciding if I wanted to rent my house or sell it. Not only was Vinny one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, but for the first time during a selling process, I knew I could trust the company to sell my house. Vinny started off initial work and then I was introduced to Ben, who like Vinny was both super friendly, and passionate about wanting to sell my house to the right person. Communication has been something that has been a constant negative with previous purchase/sales but it couldn't be anymore different with Cherry Picked. As a landlord I have worked with several agents over the years, but must say Ajay and the team really have set a new level for service, local knowledge and professionalism. After spending about a year looking for a property to buy in Oxford and dealing with various estate agents, Vinny and Ajay from Cherry Picked Residential came like a breath of fresh air. We had a feeling they were going to be excellent just by looking at their online property search - they are technologically more advanced than any other estate agent (they have virtual tours and videos for all their properties on sale) and this stands out when you are looking at endless properties on Rightmove/Zoopla. Our estate agent was Ajay. He is an outstanding, professional and honest estate agent, who invests his full energy in your purchase. His knowledge of the Oxford housing market is excellent and has an impressive eye for quality in a house. He got exactly what we were looking for and never wasted our time by taking us to viewings he knew we wouldn’t like. I think most remarkably, unlike any other estate agent I’ve liaise with, Ajay is fantastically communicative and accessible, making every effort to fix problems that arise along the way. His transparency and connections with the conveyancers and the property chain definitely helped speed the purchase up for us towards the end. We will be getting in touch with Cherry Picked Residential when we want to sell and we will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their property in Oxford.
