Owen Robinson was absolutely fantastic throughout the process of purchasing my new home. He was available and flexible in accommodating my viewing requests. I didn't ever feel rushed during my viewings and I appreciated that he always responded to any questions or emails promptly. Owen guided me gently through the process without me ever feeling under pressure or stressed by it all. This was purely down to Owen's supportive, personal and professional manner. I would thoroughly recommend Owen whether buring or selling a property.

I just wanted to thanks Paul and Joe at Chancellors for the incredible service I received whilst selling my house. Joe visited us on the Saturday and was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. He promptly organised a photographer and gave us a good valuation. Paul then arranged 7 viewings on the Monday for the next day. By the end of the viewings we had sold the property. Paul and Joe then continued to communicate regularly to manage the process for us. It was a very smooth and easy process and I recommend Chancellors for anyone selling in Oxford/Oxfordshire. They have exceptional local knowledge and a customer base of potential client which is huge compared to any other agencies. Simon

Chris Kilkenny has been the most fantastic support in helping me get settled in to the new rented flat. He has come round to have a look at the minor changes that needed to be made at the flat and it has never been a problem for him. He has always got back quickly and efficiently to emails. I lost the keys to the flat and on calling him it was no problem for him to assist me in lending me the office set of keys. He was always very friendly and kind and very easy and comfortable to be around. On a separate note Chris is also a highly experienced interior designer having trained in this field. He offered me his expertise in designing the layout of the flat. He did not charge me for this service but was happy to come 3 times to assist. He has a very good eye for detail and you can see that he has a real skill in this area. I would really recommend going to Chancellors/ I would also on a separate note like to recommend Chris as an Interior designer

Chancellors has a wide range of properties up for rent. The agents are always answered my calls, even when I called them 10 times a day. The agent that we have been in contact through the renting process was Freya Thomson. She is a star! She responded my emails within 1-2 hours, called me back if she couldn't answer her phone and she was really helpful! She really tried to help us to find a landlord that would let our dogs move in with us. She arranged everything for us. I cannot thank her enough!!!

Nightmare 😳. My daughter moved in to a joint tenancy property in Oxford in Sept ‘21 organised by chancellors. It has been like pulling teeth trying to get any response out of these guys… 10/10 for frustration and 1/10 for professionalism. We're now at end of the tenancy (31/08) and things have gone from poor to really poor! Handed the keys in on last day of tenancy, landlord phones up 2 weeks later informing us that the keys have yet to be handed in! Chancellors insisted the keys were not there even though I physically handed them in myself. In the meantime Chancellors release the undisputed deposit, even though they have no keys(?!). Great for us, not good for the landlord - poor bloke, but then in true Chancellors style, they tell me they have not released the deposit, and the £50 cost of the keys (they lost) will probably be deducted from the deposit - even though they released the deposit and the money is in my bank. You couldn't make it up.... It's almost funny.

I have never in my life been treated with so little professionalism as I have at Chancellors. They made errors on our rent agreement not once but THREE times, causing us to have to resign the agreement the DAY BEFORE we were meant to move in. They repeatedly got the email of one of the tenants wrong, so they repeatedly missed out on documentation. They did not enforce the mandatory legal checks on the landlord prior to renting out the property, so we were left without awareness of the fire safety certification, the electrical safety certification, or even if our deposit had been registered until after we had moved in to the property and were simply told to ‘avoid using electricity’ until the landlord had done so. On top of this they used checks and procedures I have never experienced when renting a property before. Jordan, Charlotte, Scarlett and Danielle provided a terrible service all round, and left us stranded by their own lack of organisation. DO NOT USE CHANCELLOR’S!

From the moment we contacted the branch and spoke to Ella, she has been very pleasant to deal with and very responsive in a timely manner. We never felt pushed or cajoled into having to make any quick decisions, indeed when our surveyor wasn't able to visit the property on two occasions (Covid-related) she was very calm and understanding. We still managed to get from offer to completion in less than 12 weeks!
