Excellent, Professional & Friendly Service

We appointed Richard Kendall due to an unacceptable & unprofessional service from another Estate Agent.From the initial phone call through to the date of completion Richard Kendall remained professional throughout the whole process.Mandy was our key contact throughout & although there were issues with other Estate Agents & Solicitors, she kept us informed at all times in a professional, friendly & timely manner.I would definitely recommend Richard Kendall Estate Agents & wouldn't hesitate to use them again should we decide to move again in the future.

The Estate Agent

We had to sell our property in Ossett while living in a different part of the country with all the problems that entails but the task was made easier for us because of Mandy Bennett of the Ossett office.Whatever problem we had Mandy rose to occasion and sorted it out without any fuss. We couldn't have asked for a more capable person to organize the selling of our house. We needed someone to maintain the garden, she found someone for us. As the house was empty we needed someone to check the house and heating on a regular basis, she organized that for us. Nothing was above or beyond the call of duty, she even liaised with the buyers on our behalf as we weren't around.She was always professional as well as being lighthearted and humorous and was a delight to talk to.Thank you Mandy.p.s. We think Mr. Kendall should give you a pay rise.

Worst experience ever selling my…

Worst experience ever selling my property, staff where rude to the point i had to request a new sales advisor. Did nothing to sell the house or keep me updated. I cancelled YOPA for them as richardkendall 'sold me the dream'.. told me they would sell it an YOPA wouldnt type thing. House was at £475000 with YOPA had 3 viewings. House was at £450000 with richardkendall had 0 viewings. An now im £140 down and taken the house of the market. I would definately avoid. They may tell you they will do more than the cheaper estate agents, they may tell you that they will sell it faster. They wont. Its all lies.Just trust me an go else where :)

Caring estate agents

Elizabeth Cooke has been amazing throughout the process. She was our buyers estate agent, yet she treated us as if we were her clients. She rang weekly with updates and towards the end of the process was instrumental in contacting her clients solicitors, our solicitor and estate agent and her clients buyers solicitors and estate agent to try get this over the line. Liz was always a friendly reassuring voice at the end of the phone. Thank you for everything Liz :)

Good service - both sale and rental

As we were moving abroad, we first rented and then sold our house through Richard Kendall. Got very professional service from them, especially Lucy and Alison (in the sales team) and Amy (in the lettings team) who we were dealing with directly. Each viewing was followed up for feedback (which wasn't our experience with the previous estate agents who were marketing our house). All viewings were done accompanied by a member of Richard Kendall's team as per our request. It would have been nice if this was the same person each time as sometimes, the person was totally new to the house, hence not in the best position to highlight the strengths of the property.Overall, a well rounded experience.

Above and Beyond!

My wife and I recently sold our property through Richard Kendall's.We had bought a house at auction so we needed a quick sale to the right buyer.Daniel came out and valued our house at a price we were both happy with and within the first week we had about 12 viewings and 5 offers.One of these offers was £11k above our asking price which we were obviously delighted with.The next hurdle was the 56 day time frame we had to complete the sale of our home and the purchase from the auction.My wife and I both feel that this would not have been achieved without the hard work of the Kendall's team but we would both like to thank Amanda and Joanne especially! Without the hard work these two stars put in we would not be in our new home now. They kept us constantly updated and were fantastic with chasing up our buyer, our buyers solicitors and everyone else they needed to to get this over the line. Hopefully we will not be selling again anytime soon but if anyone is looking for an estate agent I cannot recommend Kendall's highly enough - I have only given them 5 stars as it wont let me give them 6! Living in a listed building

Living in a listed building is lovely, but selling one isn't so easy. Our first agent clearly knew little about Listed buildings and overvalued the house greatly.When we swapped to Kendall's the valuation was more realistic and there was a constant dialogue about the best way forward. Our key worker was Mandy in the Ossett team. She remained diligent and optimistic throughout even when a Sale was lost last summer. Even though the house took a long time to sell we had total faith in her resilience, efficiency and understanding. We are glad of this because she did sell the house for us and remained totally committed to the process right up to the very last detail on the completion date
