We've just bought our first home and our experience with Thomas Brown has been brilliant. The whole team has been lovely and our sales progressor Liz went above and beyond to keep us updated and to help keep things moving when there were delays between solicitors. She always explained what was happening and what the next steps were, which made everything so much easier to navigate as first time buyers. We really appreciate all of her help and hard work and send a big thank you to everyone in the Thomas Brown team!

We purchased a house through Thomas Brown and our experience was great. Massive thanks to Liz, our sales progressor, who ensured the sale continued to move through the inevitable stumbling blocks throughout a house purchase and even protected us when issues were raised ensuring the seller resolved the issue at no cost to us, the buyers. For a variety of reasons our property took quite a while to sell but throughout the process Thom. Brown were both helpful and encouraging and regularly keeping in touch regarding developments. They conducted any viewings very efficiently with good follow up. Once sold they have been first class with the sale progression and Liz Payne has been superb in chasing the matter along and liaising with solicitors etc.. Excellent advice all the way along

Extremely disappointed with TB. Marketed my late father's house with them January 2023 and intially thought all was well. Shane was assigned to us. An offer 20k below asking price came in which we accepted as had to get the house sold to finalise estate and pay our mortgages off. This 'buyer' had problems with funds which was not picked up until three months later by our solicitors. THe house then went back on the market and a cash buyer appeared - now at 40k below asking price. They then wanted to drop another 20k which we turned down. We were just about to market with another agent and suddenly buyer 1 reappeared - he had his funds sorted apparently and he now wanted to buy at cash buyer price as market prices had dropped. Lady at TB said I had accepted it before with the cash buyers why not now? (Cash buyer would have been quicker process as said they could complete in 5 wks, therefore less expenses to us). Long story short, that all fell through in November, 11 months after first marketing the property which has ended up costing us money in not being able to pay mortgages off a lot earlier. To me it felt like the agent was working for the buyer not the seller and did not do enough to progress the sale or keep us informed. The proof of my thoughts is we have just completed with another agent (ADM) 15k above the best price TB could get for us. I do not recommend Thomas Brown if you want to get your house sold quickly, be kept informed of progress in a timely manner or be expected to keep dropping the price.

Just bought with them. Our solicitors were absolutely rubbish - constant delays and would never respond to emails or phone calls. But our sales progressor Liz worked tirelessly to chase them every single hour of every single day. She provided us with constant updates and information and made the process seamless. I honestly don’t think we would’ve completed the purchase if we didn’t have Liz - her communication skills with the solicitors and constant pressure proved to be invaluable. Always on the ball and most importantly she never gave up at a time when we were all losing hope with the solicitors. That is what pushed this sale over the line. And for that i cannot thank her enough.

Disappointing Experience with Liz at Thomas Brown Estate Rating: ⭐️ Review: My experience with Liz from Thomas Brown Estate was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Throughout the entire property transaction process, Liz consistently demonstrated a lack of professionalism and integrity, leaving me feeling misled and disregarded. From the outset, Liz failed to provide accurate information, repeatedly assuring me of details that turned out to be false. Despite my explicit inquiries and requests for clarity, she consistently provided misleading information, leading to confusion and delays in the transaction process. Moreover, Liz's communication skills were severely lacking. She frequently neglected to keep me informed of important developments, leaving me feeling out of the loop and uninformed about the progress of the transaction. Despite my efforts to establish clear communication channels, Liz seemed indifferent to my concerns and continued to disregard my requests for updates. What's even more concerning is that when I escalated my concerns to her director, hoping for some resolution or accountability, I received no response whatsoever. This lack of follow-up and accountability only served to compound the frustration and disappointment I experienced throughout this ordeal. In summary, my experience with Liz at Thomas Brown Estate was marred by dishonesty, poor communication, and a blatant disregard for customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering working with this agency to proceed with caution and seek assistance elsewhere for their real estate needs.

Great Sales Progressor.

My elderly mum has sold her property with Thomas Brown. The sale was a little harder than anticipated but thanks to Liz, the sales progressor, it was finally pushed over the line!
