I recently instructed Taylor Robinson to let and manage my property in Crawley after two separate sales fell through. From the initial enquiry through to the tenants moving in, Ben provided excellent communication, quick responses and clear, practical advice throughout. The property was marketed promptly, suitable tenants were found quickly, and the whole process was handled professionally and efficiently. As an overseas landlord, good communication is particularly important to me and Ben has been outstanding in that regard. Very pleased with the service so far and would happily recommend Taylor Robinson to other landlords.

Very disappointing experience. My property sat on the market for four months with no progress and very little proactive effort from the team. Ben Cannon and Jake Williams offered minimal support and their attitude was unprofessional throughout. I expected better communication, better service, and at the very least basic courtesy. I won’t be using this agency again. I am responding to the comments made by the owner of Taylor Robinson, as several of the statements are untrue and misleading. From the outset, I made it absolutely clear that I wanted a family to rent my property. The applicants you put forward were not a family. I was told by Jake Williams and Ben Cannon that they were, but I later discovered it was a couple and two brothers. One applicant had a very low income and another was unemployed, information that was not disclosed to me. I asked for a family, yet I was presented with four unrelated individuals. This was not what I requested, and it wasted my time. I was also informed by Ben Cannon that the applicants withdrew because they were viewing other properties. Yet you are now claiming that a viewer expressed concerns about my property. This is simply untrue. There is nothing wrong with my property, and your attempt to shift blame is dishonest. After switching to Kings & Chasemore, they secured suitable tenants, a family, exactly as requested, within 24 hours. They have since confirmed that the new tenants are extremely happy with the property. This demonstrates that the issue was not the property, but Taylor Robinson’s handling of the process. You had my property for four months and failed to find a suitable tenant. As a result, I have lost approximately £10,000 in rental income. This property should have been rented within a month, as Kings & Chasemore proved. Your failure has directly devalued my rental income. Your staff were also rude and unprofessional throughout. Jake Williams repeatedly pressured me to allow pets, despite me stating from the very beginning that I did not want pets in the property. His manner was pushy, inappropriate, and at times felt like bullying. If I choose not to allow pets, that is my right as a landlord. Finally, your claim that I behaved unprofessionally when collecting my keys is false. I was polite and simply requested the return of my own property. I will not accept being portrayed otherwise. If the owner and staff at Taylor Robinson focused on providing genuine customer service instead of responding to reviews with false statements, we would not be in this situation. The unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and lack of care shown throughout this process has been extremely disappointing.

Consistently providing an excellent service

Over a few years we bought 6 flats in Crawley with the help and advice of Taylor Robinson (TR), and throughout the whole process they were professional and extremely willing to help in every way. They have managed our properties in exactly the same manner; responding immediately to tenants issues, connecting with us to confirm actions, and regularly inspecting the apartments to ensure they are being respected by the tenants. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending TR to anyone, and am happy to give a excellent reference to anyone who requests it. Investing in our properties was a rather worrying procedure, but TR (Ben Cannon and his staff in particular) took away all that anxiety and have continued to maintain our portfolio in a constantly professional and ethical way.

First used Taylor Robinson about 10 years ago after buying a flat with my son that we wanted to rent out. I telephone a couple of letting agencies , but I was very impressed with Ben Cannon who works for Taylor Robinson and decided to ask them go find us a tenant which they did. We gained a good trusting relationship with Ben Cannon and for the first few years they provided us with Tenants and we did any work needed ourselves. Now as we know Ben so well and he has helped us so many times we have decided to use Taylor Robinson to also manage the flat now, which saves my son and I having to sort out any problems.

Really disappointing experience overall. I joined this agency after being assured by a particular member of staff that my property would sell quickly, but after they left, no one even told me. The viewings were handled poorly, staff didn’t know key details about my home or the area, and I often had to chase them for updates. I even ended up doing my own viewings just to keep things moving.

There isn't enough superlatives i can give Taylor Robinson in the service, knowledge, patience, understanding and support they showed and provided during the process of selling our property. Its safe to say that selling a (our) home can be challenging at any time let alone during a pandemic, and ours certainly didn't come without its own challenges ;) but Lawrence and his team showed a tremendous amount of support and a high level of service during the last few months and i cant thank them enough. Credit where credit is due, this Crawley team has got it right! I was looked after my Simon for the viewing and James during the purchase process. Simon was very polite, informative and most of all conscientious towards the vendor of the property which I really liked! James was on top form, I'm a very impatient person so it means a lot to me when I can pick up the phone, ask for Somone and they acctually come to the phone.. or call me straight back if they are out or on another line....I know sounds simple right..... I am delighted with Taylor Robinson Agency in letting my house, especially with property manager Ben and Petrina. The letting process was smooth and professional, and I was well informed at the each stage. Once the letting agreement started, Ben and Petrina have inspected the property on a regular basis, and the inspection report was available electronically with photographic details. Things are getting even better with their new property incidence reporting system, and the maintenance work and quotations are totally transparent and very well managed. In addition, the property manager Celia has done an outstanding job to keep the property in a good condition. As a landlord lives some distance away from the property, I feel that Celia is a person you could trust for managing the property. She is highly efficient and responsive, and keeps excellent communications flow among landlord, contractors and tenants. Landlord is informed and offered choices all the time. We really appreciate her hard work. I would certainly recommend Taylor Robinson to anyone who would like to let out their properties and they will be in good hands.
