Buying a property is very highly likely to be very smooth specially for the first time buyers. And even all the property agencies are not the same in terms of dealing with individuals. Balgores Dagenham is definitely a recommended agency to work with. Had few delaying issues but it overall went well. The whole team was helpful but Mr Femi will be the top of the rank in terms of dealing our case. Appreciate team Balgores Dagenham!

A Highly Disappointing Experience with Balgores Romford Estate Agents I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service I received from Balgores Romford. Despite their grandiose claims of being able to sell my property within two weeks, my experience has been a frustrating and costly ordeal that I would not wish on anyone. After enduring 40 viewings and reducing the property price three times, the agents failed to deliver on their promises. Instead of taking responsibility, I was shockingly advised to find another agent. To add insult to injury, they ultimately admitted that they could not sell the property and suggested it be removed from the market altogether, a direct contradiction of their earlier bragging and assurances. To compound matters, I was charged £1,100 for searches and conveyancing fees, which were never even provided. This feels not only like a breach of trust but also outright exploitation, especially given the lack of results and the dismissive attitude I encountered. The entire process was riddled with miscommunication and false promises. Balgores Romford has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care throughout. I strongly urge potential clients to avoid Balgores Romford at all costs. If you feel compelled to use them, ensure you conduct extensive due diligence beforehand to avoid being misled as I was. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and out of pocket, with no results to show for my time, effort, or financial investment. Balgores Romford’s service has been nothing short of disgraceful.

Came upon this agency by accident. However the service i received from staff was exceptional. Jack in particular was quick to remedy any issues and discuss ways forward. Gosia was a good ear in terms of my experience of having people i did not know pass through my home which is part and parcel of selling i know. Overall dam good agency up to completion.

We really can’t praise highly enough how professional and diligent Deepuk and his team have been in dealing with the sale of our property in Hornchurch.We live in Australia and this brings a unique set of circumstances with time difference. This didn’t ever become a problem as Deepuk always managed to email or call with updates. GoogleBuying a property can be a challenging experience, dealing with Balgores in Ongar made the whole process that much easier, Edmund was flexible, kept me updated throughout the purchase, even at the weekends, Edmund made himself available and he communicated continually to ensure that everything remained on track. End to end took a little over 8 weeks, and i am happy to say that i picked up the keys from Ed last Friday, the 14th of June. Happy to say that i am now moved in, and this is largely in part to Edmund. Thanks you Ed, and thank you Balgores.

Their opinions were honest and I felt reassured that my property and myself were in safe hands. There was respect on both sides throughout and communication could not have been clearer. So -- I don't like estate agents generally. This is based on historic bad experiences over the years. I have little trust and zero confidence. To this end, I sold my property using Purple Bricks, as I wanted to be more in control and I wanted greater oversight of what was happening myself. I had no choice however, in using estate agents to find a property to purchase. This kind of filled me with a little dread and I totally was not looking forward to all the blah and bs. I however met Ricky Archer at a property that I had arranged to view and he just seemed different. He had a really nice way and came across as decent and honest. This was my first impression of him. I didn't like the house he was showing me and it was over priced (in fact it is still on the market now). I had no interest in buying it, but I really appreciated meeting an agent like Ricky. About a month later, a property came on the market that I was very interested in. I called Balgores to arrange a viewing. About half way through the call, I realised that I was speaking to Ricky, who I had met previously. He remembered me and the house that he had previously shown me around. I was really pleased when Ricky said that he would be showing me the new property himself.He showed me around the new property and again was professional, charming, funny and honest. He said that as soon as it came on the market, he knew it would be what I was looking for and he was right. Ricky was able to negotiate well between the seller and I, to get an price that we could both agree on. This was efficient and he kept me up to date and managed my expectations extremely well.Even though Ricky was working for the seller and not for me, he kept me up to date throughout the whole process. He gave me his mobile number and was always available for calls and texts. He proactively managed the sales process until contracts were exchanged; speaking to solicitors and other parties in the chain. We were able to achieve a really fast exchange and agree a completion date. Ricky was fantastic throughout!He has changed my view of estate agents somewhat and I would recommend him to anyone. Balgores Hornchurch seems to be a great company too, based on all my interactions with them! I will send anyone looking to buy or sell a house in the Hornchurch area, directly to Ricky Archer.The only thing that I did't like was being told that I had to see the Balgores Financial Advisor and an appointment being made for me. I prefer to do my mortgage business directly with my bank and have no need to intermediaries. I already had my mortgage agreed in principle and in the end didn't attend the appointment, but it was kind of put to me, that it was compulsory to attend in order to be able to purchase the house I wanted. This isn't ethical and I hope that this is not common practice.Thank you for all your help Ricky. I hope to see you on completion day next month!

Great customer service/care. Me and my partner (First time buyers) brought a house through balgores basildon last week. We were shown around by an estate agent who was great. Very help full. We also went back a few weeks later to do some measuring up, estate agent was great and letting us get on with what we had to do. Sarah is who I dealt with most and she was brilliant. Really helpful on the phone, updating us weekly. Also a big help as it's all new to me guiding me on what's the next step. I would 100% recommend balgores basildon for any one who wishes to buy a house through them as they couldn't do more for you. I am really glad I sold my house with Balgores Agency. At first, I thought they may be so busy that they wouldn’t give me the time I need to sell my house and understand the process as I know they are well known but these weren’t fact just my assumptions. Kish Oogarah was my contact and he was really nice and professional. He got involved until the end of the sale, keeping himself updated on where the sale was at. He gave me a few calls to keep me updated. It was really useful to sell with Balgores and I would recommend it.

Balgores of South Woodham Ferrers were extremely helpful in the selling of my property. Yes they are paid but they seemed to me to go the extra mile. They gave helpful advice on the first visit on how to present the house. They answered all my questions without using 'jargon' and always made me feel that me and my property were very important. Maria helped when it came to filling in forms and keeping me updated with how the sale was going. From my personal experience I would certainly recommend the South Woodham Ferrers branch, nothing was too much for them and they make wonderful tea too. Thanks to Clive, Marie, Lucy and Tom.

Richard manages a great team, Kish gives first rate advice so that you are always kept informed at every stage, Kelly assists with many things including the viewings, arranges timings to suit you always with a smile and Louise supported till the end chasing up people when needed. At first, they were very helpful, but as soon as I went to sign the contract to list my late parents’ house it went down hill from there. The other agents all wanted a commission of 1% for which they would do open days and arrange all the viewings themselves. However, with Balgores, they wouldn’t do such a thing for even 1.1%, so straight away I was getting less than first discussed. They did arrange a lot of viewings, had multiple offers and we settled on what we were told was an offer from a cash buyer. Great, we thought, but then my solicitor contacted the buyer and didn’t hear back. Three weeks passed, so I rang Balgores to contact the solicitor where I was told “after the sale we don’t normally contact anyone” WHAT!!!!! No, you’re an estate agent (that’s what you list yourselves as) and you're my go to if my solicitor can't contact the other solicitor. A couple of days passed and they got hold of him. By this time, the buyers had already broken the Gazeal Agreement, which the buyer got me to sign. I could have quite easily walked away with the £2000 penalty fee.If you try to contact the sale progress team good luck, as out of the 20 plus times I called them they only picked up maybe four times, so always press option one as you have more chance of someone picking up. The longer this went on the less they picked up, so I expect the recognised my number and didn’t answer, as when I withheld my number they did (but this may have been just coincidence). Balgores didn't chase on their own back, I had to chase all the time due to the buyers solicitor not contacting mine. I expect due to the fact I was ‘tied’ into a contract they weren't bothered. I also suspect that the "cash" buyer wasn’t a cash buyer, as three months down the line my solicitor received an email from the buyers stating that due to interest rates increasing by 2% they were hesitant to proceed. Hence, raising my suspicion if this was truly a "cash" buyer!?! It may have been because they were short staffed, but my last estate agent was bad, and these were on par with them, maybe even worse! I would never use these again even if they paid me!!!Also be careful as if you leave the contract by giving the correct notice etc. and you have it listed with another estate agent of the person was first introduced by Balgores they they still want their money. So you could end up paying for 2 commissions
Hi Paul,I am sorry to see the above however I do share your frustations, our version of events are below.We agreed a package with you for the marketing of your home that included Balgores paying for the professional photography, EPC and floor plan.In terms of not contacting anyone after the sale agreed this is certainly not the case, we chase solicitors and parties involved to assist until point of exchange of contracts and completion and our records indicate as such.Regarding the Gazeal agreement, this was not instigated from the buyer it was ourselves and this to give additional protection to the transaction, the buyer paid £600 for this agreement which is non refundable to them and this is to show commitment from both seller and buyer as a penalty fee would be incurred by either side for withdrawing.We have contacted both solicitors on numerous occasions seeking updated and forwarding onto yourself, any contact you have made via phone or email has always endeavored to be returned as quickly as possible.The Buyer evidenced that he was buying cash. In terms of interest rates, a lot of clients go on to re-finance property after purchasing cash to pull their money back out - for this reason the rates would be relevant to them.In relation to the list of viewers that have attended, this is standard practice to send to clients, this is to avoid you being in a position of paying 2 commissions so that you can see who has been introduced by Balgores. Most if not all Estate Agents will do the same to avoid any discrepancies.As a company we have invested in your home and of course are disappointed that it has not proceeded to exchange of contracts, if there is anything we can be of assistance with in the future then please do not hesitate to contact us.Kind Regards,Billy GillArea Director

GoogleInitially unsure if we actually would move, Paul got us started and he was obviously listening! New house is exactly what I had in mind... Purchase was a breeze (very good sellers helped), but where the Agents, Lee in particular, came good was in the sale of our old house. Offer was accepted in a few days, but then the process needed 'massaging' due to a slightly awkward buyer. The team worked hard and the process (though it didn't always feel like it) was remarkably quick. Thoroughly recommended.

On of the branch manager's come to our house to value the property and was quite frankly very rude and insulting. No real communication and conversation on reasons why selling etc. It was purely just walk in take measurements and that was it. The whole conversation didn't provide me with any confidence and generally told the manager to get out and don't come back.
